He won't be getting no poduim's anywhere. Alejandro Valverde given a 2 year ban which is unfair, he bas been clean this year, i still think he should be banned but maybe 6months to a year. Totally unfair and he has dissappointed me, No they best ban Pellizotti. |

The man has been cheating for year, protected by his country's authorities, eventually caught, it took a long trial to have him banned, and now it's unfair that after all he won (or should I write "all he stole" ?) he gets a regular 2 years ban (which is the normal punishment for such offences) ? |

Fantastic. Except he's been banned for 2 years.

His first ban was in the Oil for Drugs scandal. Read up about it, and you'll see why it was only three months, over the close season.

Is Nibali going to ride a whole year and be a contender for every race? He can't be in form for Tour after Ardennes, Giro and Dauphine, or he can?
By the way Basso said he will do his best for Kreuziger's success at Tour
Go Roman!

I just read Basso will try to beat Contador, what would mean that Kreuziger will be just co leader.

If Basso is at his Giro's level, and Contador at his last Tour level, Basso will be properly slaughtered... Contador would have climbed the Zonconlan 3 minutes faster than Basso, who won the stage, 8 days ago (based on their respective power outputs). |

On paper, Basso would have ridden the Kronplatz in 39 minutes. So i would wait untill i see it myself. Contador would win though.

Meh. Even if Basso climbs like Birillo did in 2006, Contador would destroy him in the 50 km long TT. Anyway, he won't be in the Tour as strong as he was in the Giro, so he'd better find more fitting adversaries. |

I do agree that Di Luca should have received a 2 year ban for the Oil for Drugs-case - but because Di Luca somehow avoided it, why should Valverde? Because you're a fan? |

You can't have a young guy riding so many hard races so young. If Liquigas are smart, they'll rest Nibali.

2006 Basso was a minute behind Ullrich in a flat, windy, 50km TT

x2..
I was little unhappy when Nibali anounced has Pellizotti replacement. That spoiled he's Tour preparation.. But he pulled out podium place with he's current form..this is a little confort.
Still ... he is the best Liquigas rider |

Who do you think that will be Caiise leader for this race?
I think Luis Leon Sanchez, but he had not race almost nothing this year....
What do you expect from Moreau?
And do you think Soler will be good enough for the real big mountains? |

Moreau is not strong enough to ride GC anymore, he will be domestique for Sanchez. Soler will be domestique and maybe try and go for a stage win.
