In this case they're just echoing Katusha's official announcements. It's Katusha that's being bipolar

The cobbles are nice and wet, should be a good race.
Saw the Katusha guys out training this morning amonst all the cyclosportive guys.
There's people from all over europe here. Tomorrow should be a good race as rain is forecast by the Belgians. And.. Free beer with Het Nieuwsblad, Belgium is a great place.

I'm in 2 minds here.
1) I hope it rains, it'll be a great race
2) I hope it doesn't rain, i'll get wet.

You'll also have the problem of keeping the rain out of the free beer. |

I'm being boring and going for Boonen.
He's won it in the World Champions jersey - bet he's dying to win it in the Belgian jersey too. |

I'm making a shout and a half, and saying that Geraint Thomas is looking in form right now. And being the last Sky rider in the train, may well be a protected rider. Top 20?

Big fall in the front of the peloton. Lars Boom and Ivanov down. Some stupid Euskaltel dude thought it would be wise to go from right to left and sweep half the peloton. |

The euskaltel guy was the first to go "over" Grivko. Who went from right to left.

Just woke up, any news from early in the race, or at least a quick summary? |
