just for those who want to know who's in and who's out.
definately one of the more stacked vueltas we've had in past few years. Last year was good as well.

Realistically, the question is if Evans has enough left in tank. If he does, he's a sureshot. If not, then who knows. |

that's what I like about the Vuelta. you can say who you think will be in better shape. but it's all guesswork.
I'd bet on Sastre and Evans for the simple reason that they are so consistent and as such are the only ones you can be sure will be in at least decent form. |

I don't think Sastre will win anything ever, though, so in my opinion, pre-race-favourite is Evans. |

I dont know about Sastre win...But I belive he has something to show after not so good and lightly injured TdF. I like Evans...and still remember what was TdF shure favorites final status...no I dont talk about doping. Vino was in weak form and under so much pressure..Valverde just cracked.
This is new situation for Evans..but I belive he's dont change he's style..he gonna take fastest backwheel and follows has long it's possible.
And I expect to Rogers have some good tour..to make plakker change he's mountain 75 stats

Believe me, I know. That's my response when my boss asks me to work extra.
Anyway, I still think you should go. If I had the opportunity to see a stage of a grand tour, I'd be jumping up and down in celebration. |

I concur. He won't win cause his time trialing blows. He's not enough of an explosive climber to make it up either.
Rogers has fitness issues which is important cause the important stages come earlier.
Menchov is just as tired as Evans but not just as good. Although he has a chance.
Discovery has a lot of wild cards. Who knows. But unlikely they'd win gc. They'd have to really earn some major breakaway time to win. But with a weak predictor lotto team...who knows.
Periero, Karpets...see Sastre. I know karpets can ITT but he's never really showed anything resembling a contender status in a GT.
Zubeldia, jack of all trades. Evans > Menchov > Zubeldia.
Fothen...lol.
Cunego...maybe. Definately one of riders i'll be cheering for. But until he limits his losses in the ITT he won't win.
Gomez Merchante. Interesting is all I gotta say.
Thats my 2 minute preview. |
