Not so bad...and i think you should play the first season on hard and then change it to extreme,......well,don´t expect great intelligence from riders. |

Stage 1
Albufeira
Tour will be decided in long tt..we have to run 3 stages before that. First one ..for sprinters.
McEwen sneaked away to collect sprint points..he is after points jersey.
97km to go..Bang!..game has started. Hesjedal atack..and strong one. He need to show himself and for team managers that Mallorca disaster was just a one bad day..
Speed has been all day realy fast. Teams has been after Hesjedal..who is still out there all alone. Galicia sending one of the go leader Castano to protect our sprinter Pacheco.
14,5km to go..Hesjedal finaly gonna give up. What a strong solo breakaway it was.. We should watch him when TT stage comes
5km. to go..another hugh spit.43 riders get away..now I am shure that Pacheco can not sprint today. Tempo has been to fast today..
Rabo is at the front with four riders and building some kind of "wall" Ten Dam, Tankink, Nuyens and Menchov (strong team).
Stage win and leader jersey for Nuyens..we can be pleased Cesar Veloso and Castano did not loose any time today..

Stage 2
Lagoa - Lagos
Pacheco did not had enough legs for final sprint. Lets try it again today.
and mass sprint it is. Best young rider José Joaquín Rojas is leading...Hunter, Napolitano, Pozzato. Pacheco is to far at the top..
Rojas is fading..Hunter is passing. Pacheco is coming..damn he is fast.
Pozzato has a open line..he takes a lead. Pacheco follows...
Stage win to Pozzato.Nuyens is stil tour leader. Great Pacheco 4th. He started a little late.
Tomorrow we have hard uphill finish to take.

Stage 3
Vila Real de Santo Antonio
Important stage before TT.. Hilly stage will help select elite group..
Atack..105km. to go Pate, Champion and Pasamontes.
35km. to go..Valverde atack. Nice Caisse plan..he has cpught now last breakaway rider Pasamontes. They will work together?
Chase group..what is left after KOM check points. Rabobank is working hard to chase Valverde-Pasamontes duo down. Tempo is not fast enough for that. Galicia has two riders in that group Cesar Veloso, Castano. Veloso looking good today.
..another Caisse move. Pasamontes has given up. 25km to go and Plaza going after Valverde...
I am also surprised that Rabo can not pull fast enough. Now Pozzato atack..
Plaza has cought Valverde..super active Caisse day.
When Riblon atacked Cesar Veloso follows..
Counter..Anton, Joaquím Rodríguez.
This is last km uphill is real sharp and hard. Two Caisse guys at the front..Pippo butting all out to chase them down. He has chanches to take a tour lead. Cesar Veloso in trouble..
Valverde is droped..Plaza all alone.
This is surprise..Pozzato is droped..he has done lot of works to chase Valverde-Plaza down. Now he is empty..
Only man who can get even close to Plaza is Anton..He is fastest inside final km.
Stage win and tour lead for Plaza..Caisse deserved this one today.
Cesar Veloso..6th today. +57sec. Great ride.
All Rabo team is out of GC table top 10..

Another presentation before the final stage:
Mosquera season debut. Da Pena will be team leader. We need more points. If we want to keep a Giro hopes alive.
Past winners:

Stage 5
Vila Do Bispo
Final stage...sprinters show.
Hugh breakaway group getting off early...
sprinters team controlling a pack..Katusha, Garmin..
sprint..Rojas, Hunter, Pacheco, Pozzato..
Pozzato looking real strong again..Kristof Goddaert has passed Pacheco..
Pozzato stage win..second one. TT second place..Tactical mistake in uphill finish stage spoiled he's victory or podium chanches. Pacheco third..he's best in Algarve. But I am real happy about Gustavo César Veloso GC 5th. Nice tour for Galicia..again ..I need more points.

Stage 1
Prologue
Tour opening day. Mosquera season intro tour... he is not in condition to complete in top places (and profile also isn't perfect for him..) Quickstep is here with super squad..Boonen, Chavanel, Barredo,Devolder..all out. Cancellara is another overall win favorite. Vicioso is here to get good result. Rock Racing with theyr best team.
Favorites dont want to wait today... 3rd. man who ride down the ramp was Devolder and he set time to beat ..
He can not wait a long enough 15 minutes later comes Cancellara and he is 21 sec. faster. This two super times stayed all day in 1-2 position.
Gutierrez 11th. (+37 sec.)
Chavanel 5th. (+30 sec.)
Boonen 8th. (+32 sec.)
Gomes Marchante 12. (+39 sec.)
Mosquera..not something good 42. (+55 sec.)
Vicioso ..great start ..3rd. (+26 sec.)
Phinney 22. (+46 sec.)
Go leader Garcia Da Pena..same class with Mosquera 47. (+56 sec.)
Barredo ..4th. (+29 sec)
Bochman 16. (+42 sec.)

Stage 2
La Guardia de Jaen - Humilladero
First regular day...
I recieved bad news today. Galicia team has left out from Tirreano-Adriatico race..10 teams tryed to get wildcard
Wildard teams are:
Aqua & Sapone
Androni Gioccatoli
CarmioOro
Ceramica Flamina
Miche
It makes me more worried about Giro. Next interesting goal..11 teams are after Milano-San Remo ticket
Interestin move in Livestrong team..Thetr leader Phinney is in breakaway group. They are after a stage win.
Intermediate sprint checkpoint 10km before the finish. Boonen going after it..only man who follows is our sprinter Garcia.
Tom takes a max. points..
..and then he just keep on pushing..realy smart move. He butting all out ..and trying to drop Garcia...time gap between peloton increases..It is close to minute now..
final..km. garcia passes totaly empty Boonen..Boonen will take a leader jersey..
Amazing moment..I did not expect to see Garcia in GC podium in the morning.
