That's a little too serious to be joked with, even for my standards, thatthat. I know you didn't want to purposedly make fun of it.
It wasn't only an Armenian genocide. Lots of Greeks were slaughtered too. I'm talking about up to 2 million dead. What's most disgusting is that Turks either deny it or take pleasure with it.
I've done a promo for 2 sexual traffic pieces that fell on my lap last year, and the whole thing shocked me a little bit. But on with the thing: one of the main destinations for trafficked women was none other than Turkey. That's one country I'm never going to visit it. I'm draggin myself through this post more than I should, I'm not xenophobic and I don't hate Turkey as a whole, I just think they should get their priorities straight and admit to the atrocities they commited.

it's nothing to do with the Genocide. it makes me lose my temper too. it's about the "absolut denial".
he's in denial about Vino doping.
if you saw the short-lived "politics thread" around here, you'll know I shy away from commenting on political issues on this forum because I have a strong moral stance on pretty much everything, so I get incensed easily.
in short: ignore the bottom of the picture

I only said that because no one is sure that all the riders caught have doped consciencely (my English sometimes OMG). Maybe some of them didn't knew they were doping themselves.
I know this sound a little stupid

I find it very hard to believe in this case. it's blood doping. you get a blood transfusion.
there's no way they can say "take these pills for your back pain" to fool riders. it's a blood transfusion, it needs specialised machinery.....
plus, there's no way they can not see that blood is being taken from them and put back in a month later...

Maybe your right, but for me is hard to believe that only big riders are doping themselves. Riders that already won big competitions. I would believe more if it were Moreau(nothing against the frenchmen)

I don't believe for a second only big riders are doping themselves. but the incidence is definitely higher among them.
the problem is essentially among certain countries where it's still widespread and with a lot of people that have been in the sport for decades and think their riders MUST dope in order to win. how medieval can you get in terms of mentality?

He fired his "invasion of human rights" lawyer. And Vino didn't even bother contesting the positive. he just retired and complained to the press.

But did he get the punishment yet? I'm still afraid that he'll show up at the Olympics, saying: "Fooled ya! I didn't retire, and you forgot to suspend me, so here I am!" |

Ye,he got a year ban from the Kazakh cycling federation, the next day announced his retirement, people think he retired so he wouldn't get his ban challenged by the UCI . they could have taken the case to the Court of Arbitration for sport to stiffen the penalty |

wouldn't he have to qualify? or is that solely down the the Kazakh Federation - that bastion of truth and goodwill?

Nope, no need for qualification. That's why the Danish federation could exclude Rasmussen from both the World Championship and the Olympics -- because they are the ones who decide who's going to the Olympics.
So, I suppose it's the same in Kazakhstan. And I have a feeling that this is all a set-up, and once we reach the Olympics Vinokourov magically returns from his 1-year-ban. |
