popo is a really good teammate in grand tours
What Kumazan means is that when Popovych turned pro, considering his youth results everyone expected the second coming of Eddy Merckx.
Those expectations were raised when he had a brilliant neo-pro season and finished on the Giro podium in his second season despite being on the weakest team you've ever seen (meaning: with no team support)
I was just stating a fact and plus i knew it just kinda forgot when i wrote it.

Euskaltel will start at the Driedaagse de Panne and 4 Jours de Dunkerque this season.
Freire is yet another star to star the Giro.
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

What a surprise.
Isn't that the third time? If so, it's lifetime.
I did a quick check, and only one violation came up - but he got four years for that. So I guess he must have had one before that. |

No. That was before UCI was a members of WADA, then they had 4years. But when they joined WADA in the fight of doping they need to accept WADA:s 2 year rule. |

The cycling version of Transformers. May be very useful in a Grand Tour. |

The ASO will be organising the 2010 Dauphiné Libéré.
Talks are also well underway for the ASO to aquire the race.

Kristoff was on BMC's roster for the TDU, but apparently, he doesn't have a blood passport yet and is therefore not allowed to start. In fact, the UCI don't have any tests for his blood passport yet, and UCI has denied a dispensation from the rule.
Quite amateurish mistake, but on the other hand, UCI didn't have any problems with giving Armstrong a dispensation last year... |

Rujano says he's planning on racing the Giro next year and aiming for a podium spot or even to win it.
Ooh yeah, he also said he's the 3rd best climber in the world behind Contador and Rodriguez.

That it is, I keep thinking it's 2009 still. The upcoming Giro was the one I was referring to. Apologies.

Actually it is not a mistake from Kristoff, nor his team because it's not their fault that he hasn't got the blood passport yet.
The doping controllers has to make 4 (I think) not-warned tests on him before he can get it, so far they have only taken 2. |

Pedro Horrillo decides to retire. He did get a contract offer, but due to physical reasons, he decided to retire. Sad way to end your career. |

Milram officially announced their team yesterday. In last years presentation they said they want 25 season victories with only 8 victories they completely failed their goal.
This year you'd think they would take a more realistic approach for their season. Yes they have, they (R.Grabsch and van Gerwen) said they want 25 victories

hmm, interesting indeed. It was only a few years ago the race started there. I don't see it going back, but i've been wrong several times before.
