Only 59 km worth of time trial. Interesting...

Really looks like ASO has managed to kill the Luchon - Pau stage, Peyrsourde, Aspin, Tourmalet, Soulor-Aubisque in one stage. If just the rode it the other way

Ten days till the likely much more interesting route is presented.

Interesting route, much better than this year, and the 60 to 70km from the last mountain to the finish is almost gone |

1 minute of silence for the 16th stage of the 2010's Tour de France, tragically murdered by the organization...
I supose that I was too excited. |

Can you do anything other then agree? It will take much for the Giro to NOT win the race route showdown. |

Here's what we know so far: Amsterdam start. Possible Lecco time trial. Tonale, Gavia, Mortirolo, Zoncolan and Terminillo in.

Dont forget Plan de Corones.
As almost every year the Giro will have the most spectacular route of the 3 GT.

I remember reading something about this lately. Prologue in Amsterdam, and then two stages starting in Amsterdam, finishing in Middelburg and Utrecht.
This is from my head though, so I'm not entirely sure. |

I'm disappointed. I was really hoping stage 16 would be a summit finish. Once again, not enough summit finishes |

Again, they want a frenchman in the top 10 desperately
Too much mountain stages and long time trials would ruin that chance. |

Just been looking a bit better are the TdF route... and yeah, it's pretty avarage.
Even the first normal stage could've been rather exciting, if there'd a strong wind coming out of the west, which it usually is; bordures. BUT... after crossing 'Zeeland' they still have to go to Brussels, making the chance for bordures a lot smaller....
It should've finish in Middelburg or in Terneuzen... |
