Plaza pity not to keep the jersey, but still 4th overall is a nice place to be in at the moment. Anton's doing pretty standard, and Phinney is, once again, riding better than some you'd expect to be better than him.

Phinney had been doing a lot of work in the relaying train for Plaza throughout the stage, so yes, he's done very well. |

I just finishes the second mountain stage. With it being 65km shorter then the first one, you'd expect it to be played quite a bit faster the then first one, but quite the opposite was true: I played through a full Bryan Adams album doing so.
Lots of attacks throughout the stage.
Report coming either tonigth to tomorrow morning/early afternoon. |

Hopefully tonight...
A lot of attacks doesn't sound good for my team. Castaño pretty much only have one go per stage, so he needs to chose it wisely, and seeing there is massive attacks he is probably going too soon thus losing 5mins or so...

*sigh*
My guess is that I'll get zero success in this race. |

One day, I will be enjoying seeing my team scoring a good result. It does not seem imminent though

Marchante getting into his stride. Will be tough, but I hope he is able to make the podium. |

A VERY good 3rd place in todays stage. Very happy about that one, and Mayo placing himself in a decent run for overall top 15.
Too bad Castaño lost so much time on stage 7, otherwise he could've had a realistic shot at top 6...

brilliant, Uran looks to be in great position for the podium and a great stage win

More concerned with losing time to Uran than the jersey to Andy Schleck. At least sticking with Plaza is good for the podium hopes

If Rujano can do better than the Giro (7th overall, no stage wins) I'll be happy.

Luckily no time gaps...
Castaño really doesn't seem all that strong. I should've sent Contador here instead :-(

The only way this tour can get better is if Plaza gets a top 3 overall. Amazing so far, absolutely amazing.

Maisto must have been after 15 then (assuming it was a 10 time gap finish)

Actually, I think it migth've well been set to 20.
But still, the first groupe was indeed quite stretched. |

When can we expect the Vuelta to really kick in? It has been underway for 3 weeks now. Not to hurry you, more to know...
