I see no problem in you simming some stages, when i did my ill fated stories i hated flat stages.
Just do the more important ones and it will be fine.

But the point is that sometimes flat stages are also fun and always beautiful. And what happen if you simulate and a group of riders win by 5 min and then they win the GC,as sometimes happen? Even if it was boring you will miss the most important stage. Also it is interesting to see how with no sprinter team you try to get a good place!!, for example following the stronger rider or trying a last 15 km scape!!!
Also attack downhill is cheating because they simply never follow you!!
If a breakaway makes then it adds some excitement as you might have a chance to drop the "breakaway leader" on the following stages & that makes some stages alot more interesting
pesci: Yearh, and serious, dunno if it's just my game, but here they follow you on downhill! Maybe not all the time, but at least 50% of the times. But, I'll be bored if I played the flat stages. Don't want to "waste time" on taking screens, edit them in Photoshop, and make a nice lay-out, which takes at least 30 min!
Paris - Nice Stage 5 - Annonnay - Vallon Pont d'Arc
Rigoberto Urán was in the breakaway today. He easily won the first mountain sprint, and repeated it on the next one, too...
Actually, he won all the sprints for the KoM points today, and of course got the jersey.
As the stage got nearer the finish line, it seemed more and more, liked the breakaway should fight for the stage win today. With 30 km to go, the breakaway had 5 min, and none of the favorites had launched an attack. The peloton was lead by Francaise des Jeux, according to Duval, who was in the yellow jersey.
But then, an attack by the World Champion, Alessandro Ballan, and Lastras and Valverde went after him. The other favorites came up, as we were getting closer to finish... No more attack for today. Valverde should really talk with his legs tomorrow, at Montagne Le Lure.
Anyway, the breakaway had a lot of attacks in the last 10 km. - especially Rigoberto Urán tried to get away. His chances in a sprint against people like O’Grady, Serrano, Pietropolli and Tosatto were quite small!
As the sprint started, he wasn't in the best position, either. But by all his attacks and accelerations on the climbs, he had no powers left. Stuart O'Grady wins in front of Pietropolli and Ricardo Serrano! Great win for the Australian Champ!
Alessandro Ballan won the favorites sprint, in front of Valverde. Quite surprising, Duval stayed with the favorites, and keeps his yellow jersey!
Urán only got an 8th position in the sprint, but he got a KoM jersey, and quite comfortable!
Paris - Nice Stage 6 - St-Paul Trois Chateaux - La Montagne de Lure
In the breakaway, there was 11 riders today! The worked amazing for eachohter, and got a huge gap!
Most of it, because all the work in the peloton was lead by Francaise des Jeux. Looked like they thought, they could keep Duval's jersey. Or maybe they just wanted to show the jersey honour!
The favorites were for a long time, saving powers, and it seemed like it was going to be some fast, explosive last 5 km. Carlos Sastre attacked, and Valverde went after!
They paced very hard, and almost caught Tadej Valjavec and Thomas Peterson. But, Peterson won the sprint, and could take a great win, for the Garmin team!
Valverde sprinted for the 3rd position, and Carlos Sastre had to fight for not losing time. He didn't made it, at lost 22' to Alejandro *.
Even though, he hadn't got a stage win yet, but a yellow jersey is quite comfortable on his shoulders. He has 57' to Christian Knees, who probably will lose even more time - and 1'13' for Carlos Sastre... Looks hard to catch! Urán still has the KoM jersey - he didn't get any points today, though.
