In the break today are Fankhauser/Tirol Cycling, Casimiro/Carmin Tavira and Megias/Team Novo Nordisk

All Megias wants is the Mountain points to try and wrestle the jersey off the shoulders of Kuperasov/Itera Katusha who at the minute leads him by 42 points to 22 points

Casimiro had other ideas as he won the Mountain sprint in defence of his team mate Pereira who lies second in the competition on 38 points

A lot of riders are losing contact with the peleton due to the terrain and also the pace being set by Rapha Condor JLT

A group of ten riders have managed to detach themselves from what was left of the peleton and includes the Yellow jersey of Salzinger/Atlas Personal and the Green jersey of Eeckhout/An Post-Chain Reaction

Megias is now clear on his own by 2m 15s over his former breakaway companions and 3m 4s over that chasing group of ten

Current Mountains Leader Kuperasov/Itera Katusha is over three kilometres further back on the road and has resigned himself to losing his jersey

Megias reaches the outskirts of Gorey and is welcomed by the large crowds on the route

In the chase group behind Eeckhout has attacked as he tries to win back the Yellow jersey

The finish line is in sight for the Spaniard

He eases off at the line but has secured a Great solo victory for himself and the team

Wow, just cannot believe what happened out there today, we have got a stage win thanks to Javier Megias and we have the Mountains and Team Classifications too

Fifty four kilometres covered and still we haven't had a break

With two first category climbs to come Mountains Leader Megias/Team Novo Nordisk will be looking for the points th make sure he wins the spotted jersey

Clancy/Polygon Sweetnice is the first rider to try his luck

Megias has caught and passed Clancy on the way up the climb up Wicklow Gap

He has stayed out in front for the final climb of Tobar

Race Leader Eeckhout/An Post Chain Reaction will be happy to see the motorbike that is following Megias

The lead over the peleton is 1m 15s

Cyclingteam De Rijke have got the gap down to just a handful of seconds

But all there hard work was for nothing as Eeckhout claims yet another stage win

Another great day out for Javier Megias, he must be feeling pretty happy with himself

Kuperasov/Itera Katusha and Pereira/Carmin Tavira are once again involved in the break

There lead is 3m 27s at the moment

Eeckhout/An Post Chain Reaction should be crowned the Race Winner at the end of the day but nothing is certain until the fat lady sings

Rapha Condor JLT are once again setting the pace in the peleton

1m 35s back to the peleton

Efimkin/Team Novo Nordisk is trying to slip away to see if he can improve his GC position

Nothing comes of Efimkin's attack and in a couple of kilometres everything is all back together again ready for the finale to the stage and the race

Havik/Cyclingteam De Rijke leads into the final corner

But he just misses out at the line to Mestre/Carmin Tavira

Well what can i say, after a dreadful start to the race we finally got ourselves together and showed that when we put our minds together we can match anyone.
And in doing so we finish with three riders in the top ten and all our team inside the top thirteen.
We win the Mountains Classification with Javier Megias and also the Overall Team as well.
I think i will dip my hand in my pocket tonight and buy everyone a drink to celebrate

There lead is just under three minutes

Ther is no real chase coming from behind as no one wants to take the reins

The break heads towards the final twenty kilometres with 3m 49s on the pack

Von Hoff/Garmin-Sharp is chasing but has he left it too late

Meanwhile a crash at the back of the peleton takes out our sprinter Rodriguez

Von Hoff has nearly made the catch

Sensing the threat that the Australian will be in the sprint, Rosskopf takes off on his own as a last resort

And he judges it to perfection to grab a great solo victory
