You must. No time to play the stage today, possibly also not tomorrow.

Stage 3
It's time for the queen's stage of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, already at the 3rd day. The riders will face 173 kilometres between La Vall d'En Bas en La Seu d'Urgell, including 4 categorized climbs with a total of 3500 height metres and the finish at the 1842m high Vallnord.
97km to go
It's cold in the North West of Catalunya. Arriving in the Pyrenées, with th finish at an altitude of 1842 metres above sea level, drops of snow is expected! This doesn't withhold 7 riders attacking early in the stage and taking a maximum margin of 9 minutes. Matthias Frank (Red Bull) collects the maximum amount of KOTM-points at the summit of the Collada de Toses, followed by Arkaitz Durán (Euskaltel), Fabrice Jeandesboz (Saur), Martijn Keizer (Vacansoleil), Simon Spilak (Lampre), Robert Vrecer (BMC) and Andrea Masciarelli (Acqua et Sapone).
29km to go
It lasts untill 29km before the finish, that the first counter attack comes out of the peloton. Janez Brajkovic (Sky) starts the game, and gets countered by Vitaly Karpets (Saxo), Andrew Talansky (Garmin) and José Herrada (Dexia). This all happens 2'55 behind the 5 leaders, since Vrecer and Masciarelli have been dropped.
19km to go
In the next 10 kilometres, these 4 riders get joined by Bauke Mollema (BMC) and Maxime Monfort (Sony Ericsson). They are closing the gap to the 5 leaders rapidly (to 1'32), but the peloton is near (at 2'08).
15km to go
The 5 leaders manage to stay out of reach of the chasing group and the peloton when they approach the summit of the Alt de la Massana, the penultimate climb of the day. Durán wins the sprint for the KOTM-sprint by beating Frank and thus secures himself of the KOTM-jersey after this stage. The chasing group follows at 1'00, and the peloton at 1'43.
10km to go
It's the shark himself who's chasing the 2 groups. Vincenzo Nibali increases the pace of the peloton towards the foot of the last climb to Vallnord. MAxime Monfort has attacked out of the chasing group and closed the gap to the 5 leaders. The group Mollema and Brajkovic follows at '30, and the raging peloton at '47. From our team, only Wilco Kelderman is present in the group of 45.
4km to go
The 6 leaders have been caught and with 4km to go, Monfort attacks again. This time, he gets countered by Chris Froome (Radio Shack, now we know why Nibali was doing the work in the chase), Daniele Pietropolli (Omega Pharma) and Rubén Plaza (Movistar). Kelderman has worked his way to the front of the peloton, but a fairly bad day (daily form -1) makes him gasp for oxygen for a while, not able to counter the attack.
2km to go
SPanish Rubén Plaza seems to be the one with the best legs today, as he takes the lead. Froome and Pietropolli can keep his wheel, while Monfort has t pay for his earlier efforts. The peloton follows at '28.
1km to go
Already under the flamme rouge, Kelderman has fund enough oxygen and thus energy to counter the attack. Sadly, the 4 leaders are already '34 in front of him, with Plaza in the lead.
Finish
Plaza manages to keep the lead in the uphill sprint and wins the 3rd stage. Froome finishes in 2nd at '5, Pietropolli in 3rd at '16 and Monfort and Kelderman at '21.
When the calculating is done, it is clear that Pietropolli is the surprising GC-leader, with Kelderman in 2nd at '9.

Word from the DS
5th place in the queens stage and in 2nd place of the GC, only 9 seconds behind the leader. It is sure that, that Kelderman wants to take that GC-win now!

@ all: 9 seconds isn't that much, but with stages without decisive climbs / hills, it will be pretty difficult. Especially as Pietropolli seems to be in great form.

Stage 4
After yesterday’s mountainous stage, the riders have a fairly easy stage. The 201 kilometres between Oliana to Ascó are mostly downhill.
167km to go
The goal of the last 4 stages is Wilco Kelderman to regain 9 seconds to Daniele Pietropolli. So we work hard to prevent breakaways to be formed before the first Intermediate sprint. And although our purpose is pretty transparant, Pietropolli doesn’t sprint fort h bonus seconds. Kelderman wins the sprint (Mulder in 2nd) and regains the first 3 seconds.
60km to go
Then the BOTD is formed and none of the teams in the peloton seems to be interested in chasing the 8 riders. And as the gap grows to 11 minutes, Matteo Montaguti, who also wins the KOTM-sprint, even becomes the virtual GC-leader!
Finish
The 8 riders stay together untill the sprint begins. And it’s Acqua et Sapones Matteo Montaguti who wins the stage. Jonathan McEvoy (Qantas) takes the 2nd place, and Peter Möhlmann (Rabobank) the 3rd place.
6km to go
As the peloton keeps on sleepriding, Wilco Kelderman wants to go for another surprising move. He attacks with 6km to go, and noone reacts.
Finish
The GC’s number 2 is able to create a margin of max 30 seconds and finish in 9th place, about 200 metres in front of the peloton. But the jury decides to give all the same time. Of course we make and official protest, claiming that Kelderman finishes about 20 seconds earlier than the peloton. But as more often in cycling, we feel like talking to a wall, and our protest is rejected….

Today’s winner
Word from the DS
First part of the plan worked great, regaining 3 bonus seconds. But what the heck is that jury thinking, giving the peloton the same time as Wilco, although they finishes about 20 seconds later. One bunch of corrupted…….
