hi seoul yank maybe you can post the stats of your team?

Posted back on page 1 or 2. Haven't changed substantially since then.

In Pcm 2007, it take a complete season to see big change in the stats. But one day, one of my young rider became 77 average during the giro, he pass in one year all the experience level! Next season, he was one of the best stage race rider and only 21 year old.
When Nothing goes rigth, go left...

Unfortunately updates are going to continue to be few and far between over next few weeks. Super busy at the moment. Will play and update when I can (actually played 3 stages of Deutschland tour already but no time right now to update).

Stage 1: Saarbrucken Circuit
i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0001.jpg

3 times around Saarbrucken. There is a break, it is caught so mass sprint finish.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0002.jpg
As sprint trains line up, things are looking bleak for us as Haussler is well back.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0003.jpg
Euskatel looks much better as Forke has gotten a nice lead out from Grillo.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0004.jpg
Forke holding the lead with Stroetinga and Goss trying to battle.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0005.jpg
Forke holds on to take the opening stage win. Haussler runs a strong sprint to take 4th despite starting from so far back.

Stage 2: Bretten TTT
i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0006.jpg

TTT today. We have a pretty good time trialing team here so we like our chances.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0007.jpg
Saunier Duval, +1'06 (9th)

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0008.jpg
QuickStep, +1'16 (12th)

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0009.jpg
Astana, +1'04 (8th)

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0010.jpg
Predictor Lotto, +6 (2nd)

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0011.jpg
CSC, always one of the stronger TTT's, +24 (4th)

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0012.jpg
Liquigas, +1'00 (7th)

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0013.jpg
Rabobank, +48 (6th)

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0014.jpg
Discovery Channel, looking very good at 55'58". Probably only have to worry about Caisse d'Epargne out of remaining competitors.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0015.jpg
Caisse d'Epargne, +8 (3rd) - looks like DSC will win the TTT.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0016.jpg
Ceramica Panaria, surprisingly strong: +32 (5th)

Great result for us, puts us in good position to go for a win in the tour. After a dismal Tour de France, Schleck now wears yellow here.

Stage 3: Pforzheim - Offenburg
i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0018.jpg

Hilly stage today, but with the hils far from the finish it is unlikely they will have much impact on the outcome. Instead, we are expecting a sprint finish.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0019.jpg
The race holds almost true to our expectations except that Intxausti attacks up the tiny hill that is 10 km from the finish.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0020.jpg
Intxausti never gets more than a 30 second lead, and with 2 km to go the pack is closing down on him, only 19 seconds back.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0021.jpg
Intxausti has little hope of hanging on now as Haussler is showing explosive speed.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0022.jpg
If the race was 1km shorter, he might make it but Haussler is coming fast now.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0023.jpg
Haussler blows by Intxausti and now has a sizable lead in the sprint.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0024.jpg
Spurred on by his home country fans, Haussler finishes off a dominant sprint. He not only wins the stage, but the bonus time puts him in yellow at the expense of his teammate.

Stage 4: Singen - Sonthofen
i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0001-1.jpg

There is sure to be some action today around the steep hill that is 15 km from the finish. We will do our best to try and keep Haussler in yellow, although he is sure to lose it anyway at tomorrow's mountain stage.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0003-1.jpg
There is a break, it gets a lead then the peloton goes into action. Up the primary climb of the day, Stijn Devolder is up front and pushing the pace. He stretches the peloton very thin.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0004-1.jpg
The front group is soon only 39. When the attacks finally come, it is not from Caisse but rather from Benat Intxausti, Dekker and Sanchez.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0005-1.jpg
Schleck and Mollema counter.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0006-1.jpg
Amilcar joins as well but the pack is chasing hard and is very close behind.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0007-1.jpg
Mollema, Intxausti and Dekker form the front group out of the attack and they cross the peak first.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0008-1.jpg
43 seconds later, Amilcar, Schleck and Sanchez cross. They have a 31 second gap to the chasing pack.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0009-1.jpg
Down the descent, then they hit the flat. The Dekker group has a 45 second lead now over Schleck and co. in the background.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0010-1.jpg
Sprint starts. Who is strongest today?

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0011-1.jpg
Close between Mollema and Intxausti with Dekker trying to squeeze in between.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0012-1.jpg
Mollema has it, but only barely. Very close finish. Schleck and company get swallowed by the pack during the sprint.

Stage 5: Sonthofen - Solden
i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0013-1.jpg

Queen stage with a pretty brutal uphill finish. Can't say that the winner will be decided here as there is still a long ITT, however this stage will create a very short list of potential winners.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0015-1.jpg
Odd to see a guy who is currently in a podium spot go on the break, but Haussler is after points. He is keen to take the points jersey in this race.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0016-1.jpg
Haussler takes max points at the first two sprints.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0017.jpg
As well as the third sprint.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0018-1.jpg
Future Discovery Channel man, Humberto Amilcar is first to launch an attack on Rettenbachferner with Intxausti not far behind.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0019-1.jpg
Garcia Gonzalez follows.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0020-1.jpg
Then Sanchez, Menchov and Schleck.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0021-1.jpg
Finally, it is Mollema's turn.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0022-1.jpg
A 7-man group comes together: Amilcar, Menchov, Garcia Gonzalez, Schleck, Mollema, Sanchez and Intxausti.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0023-1.jpg
43 seconds back, Dekker and Abram Garcia have managed to get away from the pack.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0024-1.jpg
Schleck is on a -3 day and cannot keep up the pace.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0025.jpg
Dekker and Garcia pass Schleck.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0026.jpg
Dekker rides hard and catches E1.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0027.jpg
At the head of E1, however, Mollema and Intxausti begin to ride away.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0030.jpg
Sprint starts and Menchov plus Amilcar are the only guys who can keep up with Mollema and Intxausti.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0031.jpg
However, they can't pass them. Intxausti takes the win.

Only positive thing about Schleck's day was he finished with a nice gap over the pack.

Stage 6: Langenfeld - Kufstein
i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0031-1.jpg

It was a very bizzare stage. Unfortunately, much of what was bizarre slipped by my notice and I did not do a good job of taking screenshots and recording the story. To give some sense, however, at one point the entire Caisse d'Epargne team managed to get away from the pack without being chased. There was no wind, so wasn't a wind split. They simply got away. Milan was the only guy who managed to stay away. With 15km to go, he was 3 minutes up on the pack which would have leap frogged him over a few people in the top 10. Over the final 15km, the pack closed the gap to under 30 seconds.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0032.jpg
The front break consisted of 7 men and had a huge lead with 10km to go.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0033.jpg
Out of the break members, it is Stefan Radochla who comes away with the win.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0034.jpg
Haussler finishes 3rd out of the pack and picks up some sprint points.

Stage 7: Kufstein - Regensburg
i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0001-2.jpg

Uneventful day until the sprint.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0002-1.jpg
Haussler starts the sprint in fine position just behind Boonen.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0003-2.jpg
1 km to go, Haussler still on Boonen's wheel. Bennati is on the outside and Rasmussen is coming up fast.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0004-2.jpg
Haussler makes his move, trying to pass Boonen.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0005-2.jpg
Near the finish, Haussler looks like he might take it.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0006-2.jpg
He does! Nice win. Barring something strange happening, that should lock up the points jersey for Haussler.

Stage 9: Einbeck - Hannover
i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0021-2.jpg

Final stage, one with light rolling hills. It is raining cats and dogs today so must watch out for falls.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0022-2.jpg
There is indeed a big crash today that takes out 35 riders, including Intxausti, Menchov and Boonen. It happens 5 km from the line, though, so no time lost.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0023-2.jpg
Amidst the confusion of the crash, a group of 11 sprinters actually gets away from the pack. Haussler is there.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0024-2.jpg
At the start of the sprint, Uran is pulling Forke at the front. The uphill sprint specialists like Senig and Kolesnikov are there as well. Haussler is well back.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0025-1.jpg
Forke has the lead, but it is tight.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0026-1.jpg
Kolesnikov has pulled even and is starting to push ahead.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0027-1.jpg
Kolesnikov takes it.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/Deutschland/PCM0028.jpg
Haussler finishes off a good tour with an 8th place finish.

Tour de l'Ain

While we were racing the Deutschland Tour, we also had a team at the Tour de l'Ain. I did not attend. This was not an important race for us, just a chance for some of our Vuelta hopefuls to stretch their legs.

2009: Alejandro Valverde (Caisse d'Epargne)

Flattish classic race. Sometimes the sprinters win, sometimes an earlier attack wins. Our main hopes here will be Cavendish, Haussler and possibly Rovny.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0002-3.jpg
11-man break today which includes Fumiyuki Beppu. They get an 9 minute lead before T-Mobile and Gerolsteiner start to chase with 140km to go.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0003-3.jpg
Strange things start to happen the second time over Waseberg. First, Sanchez, Nuyens, Dimitri Claeys and Cangelosi attack and catch up with break.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0004-4.jpg
Then on descent, T-Mobile who have been driving the pack manage to get away along with a few riders from Ceramica Panaria. Guys like Ricco and Ballan are here. No wind, so how the split happened is a mystery.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0005-4.jpg
The T-Mobile group catches teh days break 20km later.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0006-4.jpg
Ballan decides he doesn't want to hang with the break anymore and attacks.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0007-3.jpg
Good move as most of the break, including the T-Mobile guys, are caught the third time over Waseberg.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0008-3.jpg
18km to go and Ballan still has a 2'30 lead. He could be looking at his second Vattenfall Cyclassics win here.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0009-2.jpg
Final time over Waseberg and past winner, Heinrich Haussler decides to try his luck.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0010-2.jpg
Ivan Rovny tries to keep him company.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0011-3.jpg
They'll get a bit of a lead but it does not last too long as they are caught by the sprint trains a few km's from the line.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0012-3.jpg
The sprinters won't catch Ballan, however, and he cruises to a great win.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0013-4.jpg
Dimitri Claeys has hung on from the break to take second. Behind him is teammate Jesus Del Nero, followed by Nick Nuyens.

i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/BangkokYank/classics/PCM0014-2.jpg
The mass sprint is for 5th place and Danilo Wyss takes it over Alex Rasmussen and Gerald Ciolek.
