Team Katusha has chosen thier team: Filippo Pozzato, Danilo Napolitano, Vladimir Karpets, Alexandre Botcharov, Serguei Ivanov, Mikhail Ignatiev, Nikolai Trusov, Joan Horrach and Stijn Vandenbergh.
I thinkIgnatiev have a fine chance on the time trials, and maybe Karpets will be able to come in top 10, and guess we are going to see Pozzato get some top 10 on the hilly stages, but i really doesnt think he is going to win any.

Looks like Sastre and Hushovd is spilting the team in half, Haussler, Kleir and Lancaster for Hushovd and Roulston, Gustov and Cuesta for Sastre and Gomez Marchante as a joker, or a great helper in the mountains

He might be able to do something on the Barcelona stage though, whith the uphill sprint.

I am curious about Columbias squad
They won very much in this season and everyone could be at the Tour

I think Columbia will bring these riders to the Tour
Cavendish, Kirchen, Lövkvist, Rogers, Hincapie, Martin, Grabsch, Renshaw and Burghardt

Cervélo has two objectives:

1. Help Hushovd win stages
2. Help Sastre in the mountains
3. Help Sastre in the Team Time Trial

Gerrans is
1. Not a lead out man
2. Not a great climber
3. A pretty awful time triallist.

There's no reason to include Gerrans.

I don't think that it isn't important for them to win some stage....

Look at goal number 1

Of course, sprint finishes for Hushovd and Haussler....but Gerrans is always one of the best riders in breakaways....he have got much more successes than some riders, who have been selected

The riders who have been selected are much more suited to all of the three goals. Plus, most of them have a lot of experience, which Gerrans doesn't have.
