It is one up'ing time!
Koren went better than Le Bon, but Boucher just went better than Koren and Le Bon.
Edit #1: JAN BARTA! 17'54"

I think the wind conditions changed. I'd expect Bodnar to overtake Barta |

Bodnar does indeed do some trimming of Barta's time, by some 2.8 seconds.
17'51" for M.Bodnar of Cannondale.

Catastrophy for Terpstra, unpinned his foot from pedals, lost 10-15 secs at the start |

Luke Durbridge hammering it home at the intermediate check, bettering the best previous time by about five seconds. Remains to be seen how well he can hold this power to the finish. With Van Keirsbulck about three seconds slower than Durbridge at the same time check.
That was a triple facepalm moment there from Terpstra.

Nicki Terpstra near-on 10 seconds slower than Durbridge at the intermediate time check, very much thanks to Terpstra's pedal failure of doom.
Marcel Kittel with provisional fourth at the moment in the time trial, a good time from the German.

Gert Steegmans goes through the intermediate time check only 4.41 seconds down on the time of Luke Durbridge, with a 20 second buffer to the Australian in the GC.

17'58"58 for Durbridge, so Bodnar still holding the quickest time so far.
Edit #1: Van Kiersbulck crosses the line about three seconds slower than Durbridge, could we see an OPQS 1-2-3? Certainly it looks like OPQS shall win the General Classification.

Costly beginning for Terpstra, 18'21" in the end. So it is up to Gert Steegmans to deny his own teammate in Van Keirsbulck.

Where can you see I am upset
Merely pointing out using negative splits is something that by many people in cycling, running and other sports. Not only Sky

Victory for Maciej Bodnar of Cannondale in the time trial, while Guillaume Van Keirsbulck of Omega Pharma - Quick-Step takes the overall race victory ahead of Luke Durbridge of Orica - GreenEDGE and teammate Gert Steegmans.

Becoming a very good TT-er out of nowhere is a classic Sky training method effect. Would you mind if I stop this off topic? |
