@Juszta - Well other teams also outbid you...
Brief Summary
107 Transfers (according to my file, but i split some into 2 parts)
Sky was most active with 23 transfers. OPQ had 20.
EUS and LAM were least active with 3 transfers. VCD and EUC had 5.
S.H.Enger was the single most expensive rider, costing 5.56million
The most expensive normal transfer was B.Coquard <-> 3.5mil + Kwiatkowski
Van Baarle and Mohoric were the most expensive FA's, costing 3million each.
This is going to take hours to edit...

I know, there is no way TMM should've been allowed to bid in these free agents.
But what is done is done, so on to planning I guess. |

I placed my bids before i posted the next part of the sale. Then i would not change them. You can either believe that or not.
Clearly this is about Vandoussalaere for you. I knew you were limited to 1.1mil bid (as did everyone!) so for phase two i upped my bid to 1.2mil and hoped everyone else was focused elsewhere, which they were.

Well...
Goddamn, this definitely sucks...
If I knew this, I wouldn't have participated in this game, but well, now I'm there, I won't quit, that could hurt this game...
I am pissed off though. You said pre-deals were okay, so I assumed I could do all the deals I wanted.
If I knew there was a 'limit', I would only have done a few only.
Really looked forward to the season with the new formed Radioshack and some nice sealed transfers.
Bit of a motivation loss as well now, but well, I'm just going to stay in ofc, I'm not that kind of a person.
I might have missed something though, only read the first 7 pages.

Well, most of my deals probably aren't possible anymore anyway.
Plus I'll only be able to access my home pc tomorrow afternoon(on a mobile in a random german hotel now )
But the idea sounds good

Seriously, closed is closed. You don't open another day of transfers, that messes up everyone else who has already spent their cash.

@Ollfardh
Closed is indeed closed (as number said). Plus i'd have to do something for LLS when he got back as well, and that is probably going to be mid-season which would cause problems i can't even imagine.
@Jesl
Welcome back, hope you had a nice time.
I saw that post coming, and pretty much all the points you put in as well.
I said pre-deals were allowed, i did not say they were ok. If you get what i mean. The only reason i didn't ban them is because there would be no way for me to check, as i can't read anyones PMs.
Equally i didn't have a limit in mind for them, i made (admittedly incorrect) an assumption that there would be a very limited number of pre-deals done, and that the absent managers would just deal for the couple of guys they really really wanted.
When that turned into 13, if i remember, riders that changed my mind. It hit a level i was unhappy with as it disadvantaged 19 managers with each deal because one side was unwilling to negotiate. I was happy to let some of them go, but people rightly pointed out it was all or none, and i had to go with none.
The Kelderman deal was blocked for a different reason beyond pre-dealing. That was seller protection and idiot proofing the system (the hobbit, not you).
All of my rules and thinking were based of the last MFS where there was no pre-dealing. Clearly there were some issues with this set up but i had no way of knowing that before things began. Now i can make changes and things will be better and smoother in the future.
If it's any consolation you weren't the only one screwed by pre-dealing. At least one person lost out because of a pre-deal and there were probably more i don't know of.
Equally Radioshack is a pretty good team with some serious star riders. With no transfers at all the team would probably have been in the upper part of the rankings, and now you havn't lost out in that sense, perhaps more mid-table than top. With Horner and Cancellara you certainly won't be at the bottom end.
And not to sound mean or offensive (never a good start to a sentence) if you wanted to quit (i'd see as understandable, to a point, sort of) the game would be fine. Go through season 1, i would do some rough planning for the team, then have someone jump in at the end of the season to take over.
Or you can look at it this way. Just get through season 1 and it should be done in a month or so. Then you can really start to reshape the team from season 2 onwards. Always put a positive look on things.
Finally, another positive, if you lack motivation all you now need to do is plan the season and thats it! Then you don't have to even look at the game until the end of the season.
