anderspcm - Yeah, I'm a bit curious myself. I'm goign for a top 10, but hoping for more than that
Probably no updates today. Maybe late this evening (I'd give it about 50%)
This gives some time to catch up
And also gives me time to ask a question about the reports: are they all right for most of you? Or do you think they should be longer?
Thanks!

Really strong team time trial by Citigroup.
Reports are fine but of course a bit more detail of race situations etc. never hurts.

I like the reports like they are atm, maybe a bit more detailed in the most important races/situations. I'm not a fan of to much text, so most of the reports is exactly how I like it.

First two stages were promising, wonder just how good Henry can be in the GC.
And i agree that the reports are great the way they are, more detail would only be necessary for the very important mountain stages.

Dippofix - Thanks I wonder myself! I will keep the length in mind in important races NC, WC and big stages will have larger coverage!

Paris - Nice: Stage 3 A very hilly stage, but not too long. It'll be explosive, you can count on that!
The Race
I wore the Young Jersey instead of my tricolore jersey. But it's not too bad, I'm proud to wear this!
The first attack was a surprise for me. Voeckler got a lot of help from a French motorcyclist, that really shouldn't happen.
But OPQS took out the whip and turned on the heat. It was so fast, I swear my legs were coming off!
Then another attack. This time I was prepared. I hesitated for a split second but decided to try and follow anyway!
I couldn't profit from the slipstream and got caught behind in a small group. When Voeckler tried to make the jump, I went with him.
But don't think it stopped there. The rest of the way was attack, attack, attack. So tiring so early in the season.
There seems to be no limit to this man. He probably takes enough time to win Paris - Nice. It's still early, but I'd bet on him.
However, I put up a decent fight, too. I get on the podium, not of the day, but in the GC! How amazing is this?

Analysis & Daily Thoughts
Unfortunately, Roche suffered a puncture on a real bad time today. He lost a lot of time. He will use the rest of this Paris - Nice to try and get a stage win and help me where possible.
I'm on the podium. I will fight to keep that. Expect me with a knife between my teeth tomorrow.
National Champion in France
I have to say, it's been so amazing riding around here so far. This jersey (even when wearing the young jersey instead) gets so much respect from the audience. On many occasions I heard my name, it's so great. The French fans have already accepted me, I couldn't be more happy!
Henry

Paris - Nice: Stage 4 A longer stage than yesterday. Tomorrow will be a mountain stage, with a summit finish. So I expect a relative calm today. Therefor I will attack as much as possible! Put a little pressure on these guys.
The Race
As promised, I attacked. With 30 kilometers left to go, I started my big offensive!
Thomas Voeckler and French Champion Henry Vergnaud. I couldn't imagine a more beautiful moment. The French favorite and (let's hope) the next French favorite side by side, trying to break away.
Unfortunately, the pack brought us back. I would not rest my case, however. Roche lead me on the next climb with quite a pace.
Meanwhile, Pinot crossed the line, dead tired but a happy winner.
In the background, we had formed an attacking group.
The peloton finished almost 15 seconds behind us, I swear. Yet no time difference was given, I couldn't believe it! Are you kidding me?

Analysis & Daily Thoughts
I'm pretty mad at the moment. Henao was caught behind and finished more than 15 seconds later, but no time difference? That's total bull!
The team is thinking about pressing charges to the organisation. I hope we do, this is not fair. The rules are clear about this, and they have not been correctly lived by today.
Tomorrow I will ride for revenge,
Henry

Incredible Ian. Absolutly incredible. I was supposed to write a 10 pages long clima report in school-homework. But I ended up sitting starring at your story for 3 hours now YOu made my day with this insane story. Go Henry! YOu know, every huge star si born on their nations national day. EBH is born on Norway's and Henry is born on France's

The Hobbit - Henry will return with a little story part when something worth mentioning has been happening for him
But just to please you, I will include a little story bit in his next blog!
muttisr - Wow, thanks a lot! It's comments like those that keep me motivated to write the story in the first place! Hope you don't get in trouble with that school assignment, though I hope I can keep you entertained with this story for a long time to come
anderspcm - It can pay off or it can smack him in the face. Either way, it's the most honest result he'll get by riding this way!
And keeping the final TT in mind, he should gain some time because he will probably lose some of that the final day...

Kwiatkowski seems to be unbeatable, but Henry is hanging on to that podium very good. Hate it when there's a gap and no time is taken.

Shonak - KWiatek seems unbeatable indeed Keeping that top 3 would be an amazing performance. Let's hope it can be done!
