Yeah good job
You said close, I say easy win for Ian
Contador has been very disapointing though, I would have bet on him for the 2nd

In the end, it was a very clear victory for Ian. Great time trial and another massive achievement for him and the team.He may even lead World Tour rankings with his wins at T-A and PaÃs Vasco now?

Ardennes week opens with the Netherlands's only World Tour Race; Amstel Gold Race. It has a hilly route, and finishes on the Cauberg climb. The main Favorites are: Sagan, Rodriguez, Gilbert, Martin, and Costa. Stybar and I are the leaders, and we would like to have two in the top 10.
The Race
With 40 km to go, the break has been brought back, and Thomas De Gendt opens the attacking with an unexpected move. There was a quick reaction from Orica, and he is brought back into the bunch.
15 later, Purito made his first move of the race, jumping away from the bunch with Gilbert and Martin.
However, the trio were back in the bunch at the foot of the penultimate climb of the day. That is Gerdemann on the front, and I'm in his wheel.
On the climb, Purito, Gilbert and Sagan rode away from the rest. Stybar and I are trying to bridge across to them.
At the foot of the Cauberg, 10 riders are together at the front. They are: Rodriguez, Gilbert, Gerrans, Weening, Anton, Bakelants, Rolland, Sagan, Stybar, and me.
With 1 km to go, the pace of Gilbert has dropped everyone but Purito, Stybar, and Sagan. Who would take the win?
It's Purito, as the Spaniard takes a great win! Gilbert has to be satisfied with second, and Stybar is clearly happy with third place.
About 10 seconds later, I cross the line for fifth behind Sagan. Rolland takes sixth, and Bakelants leads in a group of 14 50 seconds back.
Stage Results
1 | JoaquÃm RodrÃguez | Team Katusha | 6h39'05 | 2 | Philippe Gilbert | BMC Racing Team | s.t. | 3 | Zdenek Stybar | MTN - Qhubeka | s.t. | 4 | Peter Sagan | Cannondale | s.t. | 5 | Ian Boswell | MTN - Qhubeka | s.t. | 6 | Pierre Rolland | Team Europcar | + 25 | 7 | Jan Bakelants | Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team | + 50 | 8 | Pieter Weening | Orica GreenEdge | s.t. | 9 | Simon Gerrans | Orica GreenEdge | s.t. | 10 | Igor Antón | Team Oakley | s.t. | 11 | Greg Van Avermaet | BMC Racing Team | s.t. | 12 | Roman Kreuziger | Team Saxo Bank | s.t. | 13 | Yury Trofimov | Team Katusha | s.t. | 14 | Daniel Martin | Garmin Sharp | s.t. | 15 | Maxim Iglinskiy | Astana Pro Team | s.t. |
Team Rankings
1 | MTN - Qhubeka | 19h59'35 | 19h59'35 (1) | 2 | Team Katusha | + 50 | + 50 (2) | 3 | BMC Racing Team | s.t. | + 50 (3) |
Post Race Comments- I'm very satisfied with my performance today. A fifth place is really the limit of my body in this kind of race, there are too many hills for a win right now. I think Amstel suits me the best of the three classics, and I hope to win here next year. Next up; Fleche Wallonne!
See You Then- Ian

3 & 5 is amazing by Stybar and Boswell. Both are in great form obviously. MTN sure causes some trouble for the world elite.

The second of the Ardennes Classics features three passages of the famous Mur de Huy. I hope to be in the top 10 once again.
The Race
The break went away and was brought back with 50 km to go.
At the 15 km to go mark, Simon Gerrans opened the attacks, with a move that is shut down by Stybar.
With 10 km to go, Gerdemann is on the front trying to create some early gaps before the Mur.
With 5 km to go, there is an 80 man group together at the head of the race.
With 1.5 km to go, the real race is on, and Dan Martin is going from a long way out with Gerrans and Betancur.
With 500 m to go, Martin is still at the front. Gerrans has cracked, and Rodriguez is coming fast. Who would take the win?
It's the Irishman! Dan Martin takes a great win ahead of a charging Betancur. Rodriguez rounds out the podium in third. I finish a respectable seventh behind Hesjedal.
Stage Results
1 | Daniel Martin | Garmin Sharp | 4h41'23 | 2 | Carlos Betancur | AG2R La Mondiale | + 4 | 3 | JoaquÃm RodrÃguez | Team Katusha | + 12 | 4 | Simon Gerrans | Orica GreenEdge | + 29 | 5 | MichaÅ‚ Kwiatkowski | Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team | + 36 | 6 | Ryder Hesjedal | Garmin Sharp | s.t. | 7 | Ian Boswell | MTN - Qhubeka | s.t. | 8 | Alberto Contador | Team Saxo Bank | + 1'00 | 9 | Peter Sagan | Cannondale | s.t. | 10 | Jan Bakelants | Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team | s.t. |
Team
1 | Garmin Sharp | 14h06'01 | 2 | Team Katusha | + 1'20 | 3 | AG2R La Mondiale | + 1'28 |
Post Race Comments- A solid ride, but nothing special from me today. I had bad legs and it showed as I finished behind guys I can beat like Hesjedal and Gerrans. Next up is Liege-Bastonge-Liege!
