Actually a czech newspaper has offered the San Marino national team 50.000€ for beating Slovenia.
That's probably the worst spent money ever. |

I also wanted Norway, Iceland and Faroe Island if that was possible, but it's not.
I also want both FCK and Brøndby to do as good as possible in Europe, while I want the exact opposite in the League

Want Portugal through as well. The best tournaments should include the best players, and while Queiroz' Portugal haven't performed their best yet, I think it could be different in a year. Finally I see a quality striker (Liedson, the brazilian) in the team, which has been a problem for years. |

Really, why just one? Pepe spent much of his life here, but what about Deco and Liedson?
I want Portugal to get through and the worse part is already gone. The performances are getting better and, in my honest opinion, I can see Portugal doing a nice WC. |

I think you got this whole "rivalry" thing wrong. Youre not supposed to hope the best for your enemies on the pitch...

Pepe and Deco got here as teenagers, grew up here, married here, became "men" here, turned pro here. They're portuguese. They were just born somewhere else.
However, the guy who got here at the ripe old age of 26 and just wants to go to the world cup....the guy who couldn't give two shits about the country and just wants the glory....the guy who doesn't even know the national anthem, nor cares for it?
That guy can go suck a lemon

Deco got here at a younger age than Pepe.

You're talking about Marcos Senna, aren't you? Oh no, our anthem is pretty easy to learn, sure he knows it all
Anyway, it's not like I care too much about our national team. I'm just neutral when it comes to a national teams tournament. |

Pepe....Deco....Portugal. I was talking about Liédson
But yes, Marcos Senna is about as Spanish as I am.
Which isn't much, considering I wasn't born there, don't live there and "Oh si, cariño" is most of my spanish vocabulary
(Thankfully no one outside of the peninsula's going to get this joke)

In Champions League, you should celebrate for other Danish teams as it may benefit your own sooner or later.
Don't get the thing about supporting Sweden, though |

If they don't perform there are no rivalry whatsoever...
If Manchester fans want Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal to relegate what fun would there be?
Respect your opponents, that way you will create a quality rivalry, otherwise you will create hatred which is worthless...

Did FCK fans want brønby to begin playing well again when they were playing kindergarten kids? No the didn't they were laughing their arses of, thats the point of rivalry, when ever the other part is doiing bad you laugh at them. The same reason I'm not flashing my AaB fanship loud and clear at the moment, it was a total other case when they lead the league, there I luaghed at the FCK fans.

I suppose we have a different way of looking at rivalry... Of course it's always fun to tease your friends. My best friend is a Man U. fan and I'm Liverpool, så obviously I tease him when United lose and vice-versa. But that doesn't mean that I really want them to lose. I only want them to lose so much that Liverpool will end in front of them.
I don't want to see Liverpool being 1st while United are no. 15 when we play them. That's no fun. I want to see the top guns play it out for the championship in the end.
I'm Silkeborg fan aswell, and that pretty much concludes that I have to hate AGF and AaB, but I don't. I sincerely hope that SIF will be the better of those teams in the end, but I don't want any of them to relegate, because then I couldn't get those 6 matches a year where I get to yell my brains out.
I want my rival teams to stay as close as possible. If not then I could just as well watch Silkeborg KFUM - SIF that one time each year they play, while SIF are in the best league and KFUM are in the 6th, that is just not a match of any significanse.
But be my guest and want Sweden to fail miserably, I don't and I feel quite obliged to have that way of seeing it.

Look, now you got moderated any way.
Back to topic, please.
(And let me begin: Denmark threw away an amazing record of not having lost a World Cup Qualification Match at the National Stadium for 28 years ... to Hungary. Idiots.) |

Agreed. It was horrible to watch. What went wrong? I think mentally it was a lost case. There should've bee some other players starting. Some of those who have not played 80+ games, and still have that buzzing feeling when they enter Parken...

I really don't give the slightest crap about Portugal being in the World Cup or not, but I under no circumstances want these Bosnians to be there.
Players, coach, media, fans. All insufferable assholes.
The players disrespect their opponents, the fans try to physically assault them and boo the national anthem (unbelievable), the media portray the opponents as having the referees and FIFA's corruption on their side (everyone's against Bosnia or whatever).
The coach is rude, to say the least (reminds me of Jonathan Wilson's words about the coach. Wilson is about the nicest journalist ever....even he didn't have a kind word to say about this coach)
