Shame Edinburgh was denied though. It would have been great at the Castle/Royal Mile, and then would have headed down to Yorkshire/London in any case |

Stage 2 will practically go past the University I have place in for next year in Huddersfield, I plan on being in Harrogate on stage q, Huddersfield on stage 2 and The Mall on stage 3 or somewhere in London.
But either way I will make a good attempt to watch all 3 stages

Let me guess... Knaresborough
Passes 3 miles away from me on stage one, should be good |

Is selling tickets for the view from my window of the TdF wrong
I've got to go find a local hill and watch it there though (I don't want it to be the one I go up to work everyday )
If you want to help out, click here to volunteer.

Sadly my story, will be the only way Ben Swift gets there

Cav explains his "fuck off!!" on twitter:
Is it possible to comment on an interview that's not seen yet? It's still as hard after the 100th time of asking. What am I supposed to say?

I think most got the reason for his outburst the moment they saw it. It's more than understandable.

I'm not the one to usually defend Cavendish, but to see the journos desperate get reactions from the pros now, after years and years of acritical worship (except for some cases, fortunately) is really, uhm, sad?

Quite happy that the BC-backed bid didn't win though... |

This.
As much of a dick as Cavendish can be and as much as I truly dislike his way of dealing with the media most of the time, there is nothing to fault here.

This would be interesting: Genesys (the top Australian continental team) want to turn Pro Continental in 2014:

This is one of those things Australian cyclists lack - a real pathway to European success. Hopefully they will manage it.

That is great news!!! They are a very well run team and it would good for cyclists in this country to have another pathway to the top.
