Just finished first season with Orica Greenedge.
At Giro, Weening got KOM, 2 stage wins and 20th in GC.
At TDF, Clarke got KoM, and a stage. Had Gerrans in yellow jersey for a day and green for another 2 days. Goss highest performance was a podium on stage 1. Hugely frustrating.
At Vuelta, Albasini lead the race for the first 4 days, where he won a stage, and also found himself in points jersey for a day or two. Won the TTT with a terrible team, and Cam Meyer finished 16th in GC.
Albasini won MSR, whilst finishing top 10 at all the Ardennes races. Keukeleire finished top 5 at both E3 and Ronde Van Vlaadaren.
Cleaned up pretty well in the August classics, winning Vattenfall and doing well in Canada.
For 2014, brought in Kelderman and Nieve. |

The long-ish ones are actually quite easy to win, as long as you have at least a few decent timetriallists.

When i want to start a carreer with an own team, i start always directly as a Pro Continental Team (instead as an Conti-Team, thats my goal).
Are there any restriction i´ve overseen while building the team? |

Orientation must be 20% or less

It's the start of your budget. 100% is 640 000 budget, I think. |

Plus it determines how many scout reports you can use when scouting for young riders.

Europcar/Carrefour game broke and couldn't be asked to fix it...
so time for some overkill....
Cavendish, Goss, Chavanel, EBH, Porte, Kreuziger, Taarmae, Renshaw, Roche, Martin, Kessiakoff, Swift, Haussler, Thomas, Barta, Stybar, Meyer, Larsson, Stannard, Rowe, Lofkvist, Lavery, Kennaugh, Veilleux and Dowsett
Decided to avoid most of the major names and class leaders just to be fair

It's unlimited I think. If you want to play 80 years, its possible...

I sort of lose the joy out of it 5 years in. It's not the same when all the riders you are used to these days are either useless og retired |

There was a story once, that quick simmed throug the years, I think the game got stuck in the year 2060 or something, but I'm not sure. |

the game gets slower evry year becouse of the increasing amount of data (riders, palmeres, etc.)
in my experience 10 years is doable and when you go further you need a lot of patience... (but i think a better pc will do longer :-p )

Time for an update on my KLM career(team info is here: https://www.pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthr...ost_692249)
My Asian career is still running, but I'm playing the KLM career more regulary now.
I'm midway in July, but still didn't win a non-TT stage. A lot of nice, rewarding Top 10's is what I got instead. I make the mistake of joining the 2.2 races that have a strong startlist. Those are the races with the most fun profile, most of the time.
Transfers:
I signed an army of U23 riders. Some mediocre, but I found 2 great talents, who already have a skill 70! They are certainly going to help me with promoting next season.
Since July started, I signed some new riders too. Main prospect is Yoeri Havik , who developed nicely to a 73 Sprint, 71 ACC. I wanted to sign Groenewegen at first, but I saw that he developed like a rocket(74 SP, 73 ACC), and thought he was too good to sign for me, even more considering he'll probably be about 75/76 Sprint next season.
Other signings I did were talented cobbler and puncheur Sean de Bie , Sprinter & TTist Ivar Slik and Uphill Sprinter Schwarzmann .
All of the signings are very young, and I think they will develop nicely in the next seasons.
Some contracts won't be renewed as well. Hamelink refused to renew, while Gmelich(hestitated a lot about him), Jorissen(he sucks) and Kaj Backer(no particular reason, just because I've signed multiple U23 climbers, and Backer's potential isn't that great) just won't be renewed by me.
As you can see, my squad gets a bit more international. I'll keep the squad BeNeLuX+Germany though, with maybe a few Frenchies(it's KLM - AirFrance of course )
I will post my new squad next season. I can definitely promote next season, with some luck, but first, I've got some mountain stages to race.
July - August is my favourite period of the year if I'm a Continental team, some nice mountainous stage-races take place then(Alsace, Pyrenéés, and the best one, Valle D'Aosta!)

De Bie is a pretty safe bet for 80+ COB.
