Hesjedal really fell back in the last few stages after getting back in it after his crash.

And nice new screens!

Peraud is ahead of some great riders!

Great new graphics, although i am not the biggest fan of motion blur. And what a ride by Peraud to jump into the top 15, shame he was empty in the end. Smile
I'll be back

@sutty68: Thanks, it was a great (lucky) ride by Peraud.

@FreitasPCM: I think that first screen is the first time I have ever seen sunflowers in a stage I played. I see them all the time in other stories, so I just had to get a picture like that Wink

@Valv321: Yeah, Hesjedal got the worst of that crash on stage 16. He looked good for at least a top 10 overall before he fell apart in the Alps. But I not complaining, it moves Peraud up another spot.

@Avin: I can't believe how greater these graphics are then my other cpu. I happen to like the motion blur, so I think I'm going to keep it. But I will do I few screens without it once and a while to mix it up Wink

Thanks Everybody Grin Next Report Later Today

Tour de France - Stage 19

July 22, 2011

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/Profile.jpg

The final mountain stage, Col du Galibier and L'Alpe d'Huez.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/1.jpg

Right from the gun it's Le Mevel and Martin.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/2.jpg

And then from their it's chaos to join them.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/3.jpg

Peraud is all systems go,
I guess his legs have made a full recovery after his ride yesterday.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/4.jpg

A 4 minute lead over the first climb for this 13 man breakaway.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/5.jpg

They gain another minute as the reach the top of the Col de Galibier.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/6.jpg

The gap is down to 3 minutes
as the breakaway starts the final climb of the tour,
the feared and famous climb of L'Alpe d'Huez.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/7.jpg

The breakaway starts to attack each other with 10kms to go,
Peraud is content to ride his own pace up the climb.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/8.jpg

Back in the depleted peloton, 7 riders have broken free off the front.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/9.jpg

And they quickely join up with the morning breakaway,
Kreuziger is out front by 30 seconds.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/10.jpg

With 5kms to go the situation is the same,
who is going to make the first move?

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/11.jpg

It's the yellow jersey! I guess Andy thinks he doesn't
have enough time between him and Contador yet for the ITT.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/12.jpg

And it's just that easy, another stage win for Schleck.
Contador 2nd, and Sanchez 3rd; The same order goes for GC.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/13.jpg

Then comes group 2 a minute later.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2019/14.jpg

Peraud finishes in group 3, 14th place. 1'46" behind Andy Schleck.
Peraud does lose one spot in GC to Igor Anton,
but he should be able to get it back during the ITT tomorrow.

Interview - Jean-Christophe Peraud

Q: Your legs must be killing you now with back to back early attacks.
A: They are burning, but I'm very happy that with a good ITT that I can grab 15th overall. But tomorrow is really going to be about Larsson trying to get EA-Sony our stage win here in France.

Tour de France - Stage 20

July 23, 2011

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2020/Profile.jpg

The last chance to gain or lose time.
While many are waiting to see if Contador
can come all the way back to beat Andy,
we await to see if Larsson can finally get EA-Sony their stage win.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2020/1.jpg

Larsson is on fire,
he sets the time to beat early with a great time of 57'41".

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2020/2.jpg

Cancellara is 24 seconds slower,
the World Champ knows early that his time could win the stage.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2020/3.jpg

But he is given a reality check,
as Tony Martin almost beats his time,
coming 2 seconds short.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2020/4.jpg

Lofkvist came in as one of the outside favourites
but is no match for fellow Swed, 1'34" behind Larsson.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2020/5.jpg

Peraud isn't even thinking about Larsson's time,
instead he does his job and gains enough time
not only jump Igor Anton in GC
but also Thibaut Pinot and John Gadret.
Putting him into 13th overall and as the best placed French rider.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2020/6.jpg

The shocker of the day is Levi Leipheimer.
The American rides the best ITT of his life and
beats Larsson by 8 seconds.
Everyone on the EA-Sony bus can't believe what just happened.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2020/7.jpg

Wiggins, a pre-stage favourite,
has a nice ride but is 14 seconds slower than Levi.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2020/8.jpg

Then comes the man of the hour, Alberto Contador.
Needing at least 2'46", Conta doesn't disappoint ...
He puts up a time 4 seconds slower than Levi,
which in return pushes Larsson into 3rd.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2020/9.jpg

Meaning Andy needs to come to the line before 60'22" to keep yellow
and win the Le Tour de France. And crowd goes crazy
as the board lights up with a 60'17"!
Andy Schleck holds off Contador by 5 seconds! Unbelieable!

Interview - Gustav Erik Larsson

Q: Probably not what you want but still a nice 3rd, how surprised were you when you heard Leipheimer beat your time?
A: Very, I could see losing to Cancellara or Contador, but him ... he must have had an amazing breakfast today.

Tour de France - Stage 21

July 24, 2011

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2021/Profile.jpg

140 riders have made it to the final stage, let the celebration began.
Well expect for the sprinters as the green jersey is still up for grabs
and everyone dreams of winning on the Champs-Elysees.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2021/1.jpg

Brice Feillu gets some early TV time falling early into the stage.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2021/2.jpg

Larsson leads the 9 man breakaway onto the Champs-Elysees, w
hat a feeling that must be.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2021/3.jpg

What a sight, the breakaway mind as well take in the view
as the peloton is just 3 minutes behind.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2021/4.jpg

There is no way the breakaway is going to survive today.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2021/5.jpg

But as Larsson tries to push the pace around the bend he goes down hard,
the peloton are coming up fast. Close your eyes this doesn't look good ...

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2021/6.jpg

It's a massive chain reaction! Riders going down left and right ...
Larsson causes the biggest crash of the tour
in the final 20kms of the race.
Time to start listing the names that went down,

Ryder HesjedalTyler FarrarEdvald Boasson Hagen
John GadretPhilippe GilbertDaniel Martin
Alexandre VinokourovRoman KreuzigerLevi Leipheimer
Frank SchleckNicolas RocheAlberto Contador

That's only to name a few!
Peraud gets through lucky!
The biggest name being Contador,
but the biggest news is Frank Schleck withdrawals with a fractured hand.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2021/7.jpg

And with both green jersey hopefuls crashing this stage is anybody's now.
And Farrar will seal his first ever green jersey.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/Tour%20de%20France/Stage%2021/8.jpg

The old spanish sprinter Óscar Freire wins the biggest sprint stage of the year. The victims of the major crash come in 4'10" later,
meaning Peraud goes from 13 to 11 in GC with Frank withdrawing
and Alexandre Vinokourov losing time.
Andy Schleck survives a scary last stage to win his first grand tour!
And Contador drops to 3rd overall to Sanchez.

Interview - Manager Mresuperstar

Q: Your team has made it through the tour, your thoughts.
A: It went well, three stage podiums and 11th overall is better then what I expecting coming in so I'm very pleased.

A Brilliant eleventh place overall for Peraud, Niiiccceee Grin

Lucky for Peraud ... Not so lucky for Frank and Conta Wink

The question is: what was Larsson doing there, in front of the peloton??

Anyway, very nice TdF for your team, as said before, and great reports (even the amount of screenshots is sometimes a bit high Cool ).

Good to see Peraud rallying at the end of the Tour Smile 11th is a great final position Smile Also, Brilliant reports, very detailed and enthralling Grin

Great finish to the race! Peraud did great!

I like the new screens but dont like the motion blur in screens really. Its alright to play but in screens its weird Pfft

Leopard and Radioshack had a close battle for the Team Race!

Daniel Martin did terrible tbh, though.

Our Riders

One last race for the team here in July,
Thomas Lofkvist will lead the team
and is the odds on favourite to win.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/La%20Poly%20Normande/1.jpg

Two 5 man breakaway groups get away,
Hayman represents EA-Sony in the lead group.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/La%20Poly%20Normande/2.jpg

The second group trails the first group by a minute for most of the day.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/La%20Poly%20Normande/3.jpg

22kms to go, and team leader Lofkvist goes down! Just our luck ...

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/La%20Poly%20Normande/4.jpg

But not to fear, he gets up and makes his way back to the front just in time to attack as the breakaway is pulled back with 8kms to go.

i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff456/mresuperstar3/La%20Poly%20Normande/5.jpg

From crash to celebration, Lofkvist wins the race!
Not many words to describe that performance.

Interview - Thomas Lofkvist

Q: Not many riders can do what you just pulled off.
A: Well the crash was my fault and I wasn't injuried so I managed to make my way back to the front just in time. And the rest is history.
