Nasty shock with Sanchez's fall. Seems things are okay, so that's good. Pity that when Farrar is the first in the peloton, there's a breakaway rider at front winning the stage. |

Hope LLS is alright, otherwise all GC aspirations of Garmin just faded away...
Also, can you give me Martens' stats? So that I can see if he's a big danger for the GC or not. |

Thanks all.
Indeed a big shocking moment. Not sure if he has a handicap now. His pulse was fine for the last 60km, so I think he isn`t injured. Otherwise I will notice on the next hard stage.
Farrar`s 2nd is a great result, also it feels a bit like he could have won without Martens. But probably he would have suffered much more otherwise.
@MitchNL
He sure is a big threat now. He shouldn`t lose too much time in the 27km time trial. Especially not as it is a bit hilly. Biggest hope now is that he will lose contact on the harder stages, that have some mountain ratio. Not sure how the stages are set in the DB and doesn`T want to know. More fun to see it during the 3D race. At least one is rated as mountain stage, although I expect the next one to be harder. |

I think Martens can hold his yellow jersey! It probably depend how good his fitness is... Farrar is also doing great, but in the hilly stages he can't climb with the best Good luck!

I meant on the 4th stage.
If the pace would have been higher to bring Martens back, then Farrar might have struggled more. So the 2nd was fine for me as winning the stage would have been pretty difficult.
On the next stages he definitely won`t have any chance. |

The "race of the two seas" leads from the Tyrrhenian to the Adriatic coast of Italy. It`s held parallel to Paris Nice and a great preparation for the first monument Milano San Remo.
Record championis the Belgium Roger De Vlaeminck who won it 6 times in a row from 1972-1977.
Result in 2012
1 | Daniele Bennati | Liquigas - Cannondale | 30h25'01 | 2 | Francesco Ginanni | Lampre-ISD | + 4 | 3 | Michele Scarponi | Quick Step - Innergetic | s.t. | 4 | Jakob Fuglsang | Garmin - Cervelo | + 6 | 5 | Ryder Hesjedal | Garmin - Cervelo | + 10 | 6 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Sky Professional Cycling Team | s.t. | 7 | Stef Clement | Rabobank | s.t. | 8 | Filippo Pozzato | Astana | s.t. | 9 | Jan Bakelants | Omega Pharma-Lotto | s.t. | 10 | Andy Schleck | Leopard Trek | s.t. |
It was a totally weird race last year. Due to an easier variant Bennati was able to hang on in all the hilly stages and won the race due to his time bonuses ahead of the Italians Ginanni and Scarponi and the Garmin duo Fuglsang and Hesjedal. The first 30 riders had no created time gaps and just the bonus seconds decided the ranking.
Route in 2013
This season there will surely be another winner. The course of the 2011 variant is surely not the hardest again but hard enough to create some nice time gaps and probably no chance for a hilly sprinter.
It includes a short team time trial and a ITT on the last day, some nice uphill finishes and some pretty flat stages.
Garmin squad in 2013
Last years 4th Fuglsang will be our main leader here hoping for a podium. He will have great support by Dan Martin (not totally in form) and Kreder in the harder stages. Also Haussler will try his best to prove the experts wrong. He can ride on his own as long as he feels good. Otherwise he might have to work for Fuglsang, too and go for stage wins in the flat and not too hard stages. Phinney, Bobridge, Meyer and Bookwalter will try to take care for a good opener in the TTT.

Good luck here! Fuglsang can do something here, although I think, that he should be better in HILL to go for Overall win But to that point of season, you never know, what's possible.

A strong looking squad for Tirreno. What type of result are you expecting to achieve |

@ tsmoha: Agree. Different to Sanchez he might have to suffer more on the hilly stages and can`t really challenge the big favourites. And Martin is not that much in form with 70 and also suffers in the time trials.
@ sutty68: I hope for a podium as this is the only improvement to last season. But I think top5 or even just a top7 might be more realistic here.
@ YvesStevens: Depends On the rider type. Stage racer is a mix of climbing, regeneration and time trials if I remember right. Maybe another stat, too. Then always a specific percentage amount of these stats mixed together makes the average. Some rider types like time trialists are bugged as you can see. Bobridge and Meyer would have had a much higher average if the Cyanide system would work as supposed. |

Tirreno - Adriatico Stage 1
Marina di Carrara TTT
16km of pure team work today. The pre race favourites were Garmin, Movistar, Rabobank and HTC. But also teams like Sky and Quickstep have good time trialists in their rows.
Garmin was one of the early starters. They worked very well together but not sure what our time is worth.
21'05
HTC sends an awesome sprint train to this race. Breschel, Sagan, Renshaw, Degenkolb, Bos and Eisel supported by Ballan and Bak. Sagan might more concentrate on the overall probably. They beat us by just 3s. A first sign of a not too bad team timetrial by us.
21'02
Movistar with Evans and Costa totally ruin our good feeling. They finish 28s ahead of us.
20'37
Quickstep is riding with the duo Monfort/Scarponi here. Both of them are potential top5 riders.
20'50
Also Sky with top favourite Wiggins and Boasson Hagen have good chances today. In the end they miss the Movistar time by just 5.
20'42
Rabobank was something like the hidden stage favourite today. In the end they also lose quite a lot of time and finish 1s ahead of Garmin.
20'04
In general not the result we were hoping for. Still have to learn to ride a TTT. Have seen a video yesterday (thanks to cunego59) Will give it a try next time as I was clearly the strongest TT squad here.
Now of course Wiggins and Evans in a perfect position. Also Monfort/Scarponi and Cunego haven`t lost too much time.
Riders like Van Den Broeck, Fuglsang, Gilbert or Sagan will have to show something if they want to improve.
And worst start for the Colnago duo Mollema and Pozzovivo as also for Katusha and Leopard (Gerdemann) today.
First race leader will be Movistar`s Jesús Herrada with Sanz wearing the youth jersey for his team mate.

It could have been worse, although it's a bit frustrating to finish 14th with the favourited team I would have finished last, that's for sure.. you're still in reach.

I need quick help.
Just played the next Paris-Nice stage and want to export the results. For some reason I can click as many times as I like and nothing happens. No results in the export folder.
Anyone knows this problem and how to fix it. I am still in the result window of the game.
Or is there any alternative?
I really want these results as it`s one of the most selective stage here and so I`d like to have more than top20 or so.
Same happened on the stage before in Paris Nice but not on another PN stage but not on the first ones and also not in Tirreno. Also the events aren`t exported in these 2 stages...
