Surely the Crostis descent must be changed.
Why? This happened, as mentioned earlier, on a normal, though a little technical descent. While this is probably the saddest thing that has happened in cycling since the death of Kivilev, I really don't think anyone would benefit from completely changing the face of the race right now. Still:
Rest In Peace Wouter Weyland |

What are your thoughts about tommorow's stage? Should it be cancelled or annulled?

R.I.P Wouter. I think Wouter would like Leopard-trek to continue and stage 4 to be not cancelled. Let them ride for Wouter |

Tomorrow's stage, if leopard doesnt leave the race, should be shorter and let the team pass first from the finish line. If leopard leaves, i think tomorrow stage should be anulled.
Gazzetta, Marca and other media showing videos and photos... what a shame!!! This is sport, we are not interested in watching the rider on the floor. Black press always remember cyclism on days like these.
A family broken... hope they could be strong to live this drama. |

I am thinking about his family... This stage fitted Weylandt well with the technical finish and some of the fastest sprinter's dropped in the hills. Were they maybe watching the stage? In case of, how did they react when they saw his face? What were the producer thinking when he decided to show theese images?
Swedish media never pay attention to cycling unless it is an doping case, but right now the news about Weylandt is topping almost every news-site in Sweden...
It is all so sad and horrible. A real tragedy. Rest in Peace Wouter.

I'm from Belguim and we have just lost a outstanding sprinter! I also think of his family and the team Trek-Leopard. I came home and I heard the news. Terrible!
