I wonder what would have happened if Boom didn't flat when he did. He was in that group that made contact with the Tjallingii group.
Oh well. At least he finally handled 260km and Tjallingii podiumed! |

The team wasn't strong enough, Cancellara says. |

You cant say Im wrong when youre commenting on something that happened after I posted!
Fact is, he wasnt applauding Vansummeren when Vansummeren was up on the podium by himself. Which stood out to me, considering pretty much everyone else in camerashot was doing so.

Isn't that the second time in a row then. After RVV, I think he also said "BMC still had 7 riders there, we had none."
Great race by Vansummeren nonetheless, he really deserved the win. That means all 3 WorldTour Cobbled Classics were won by Belgians too - good for Belgian cycling. |

Nice race, great winner, too bad for Boonen and Chavanel. Very good performance by Cancellara ... who got the do once again all by himself.
I don't like the "anti-riding" tactic most teams prefer when Cancellara is in the group. |

Very nice race and a deserved and great winner. Was almost shouting as much at Vansummeren as to Van Avermaet in Milan San Remo.

I missed the race, watching a replay now, but it was very nice to hear that Van Summeren finally won something big |

Nice win by Vansummeren. Let´s hope for the Ardennes to be as exciting as the cobbled classics were...
BTW: Vansummeren also won the price for the dirtiest tooth

I wonder the same about Thomas, he fell twice and got pucture before Arenberg, would have thought he would finish stronger than Flecha but we will never know.

This is why I love Paris- Roubaix, so hard to predict. I just wish it was like that on PCM too. Also this was another good race with radios, but I can imagine that it wouldn't have been if Cancellara had a stronger team. The Ardennes and Giro coming up soon, I believe they're gonna be very entertaining too. |
