Thanks! Sorry for slow reporting, I have been really busy in the last days + I have started creating stages again.
26.05.2011: Giro d'Italia
Stage 17
Brunico > Peio Terme: 175.0km
Denifl (Leopard) raised the pace in the breakaway on the Palade climb. Only four of his companions could follow; Gustov (SaxoBank), Bertagnolli (Lampre), Bellotti (Liquigas) and Botcharov (Katusha). At the top of the climb they held an advantage of 15 minutes to the pack.
Van den Broeck attacked from the pack on the flat towards the finish. He was actually one minute ahead at one time, but as soon as the pack accelerated, he was brought back.
On the final climb Botcharov and Gustov lost contact with the other three. Denifl was still feeling good, so he tried an attack with 3 km left. Bertagnolli countered immediately, while Bellotti decided to keep his pace.
However, Denifl was a bit too strong for them and our young Austrian took a nice stage win. Behind him Bellotti outsprinted Bertagnolli for second place.
No one had been able to break free from the pack on the final climb, but with just over a kilometer left Scarponi bursted clear. Fränk hasn't got the best acceleration in the world, so Scarponi got a small gap to him.
Scarponi's attack apparently tired himself quite much, as Fränk came back and sprinted by the Italian to take the last top 10 spot. Those two were clearly the strongest, as they got a gap back to the rest.
Results didn't export for some unknown reason.

Thank you baia and jeffyboy. It gives me motivation to continue.
I have some bad news. I found out why the exported results is really weird. I was stupid enough to move Staf Scheirlinckx from Omega Pharma to Verandas Willems (in the DB editor) without recognising that he was competing in the Giro. That totally mixes up the results as he is still in there, but on place 0. Because of that, I have to post the rest of the results in the Giro on screens. Sorry.
27.05.2011: Giro d'Italia
Stage 18
Levico Terme > Brescia: 152.2km
The breakaway held to the finish today too and Lampre-ISD rider Francesco Gavazzi managed to grab the victory after a sprint. Dutchman Tom Leezer finished second and Gavazzi's countryman Viviani third.
Over ten minutes later, Bennati won the bunch sprint easily. Fränk finished comfortably in the pack and of course retains the overall lead.
Results:
No changes in the GC.
One really annoying thing happens on all stages. It seems like all the other teams think that it is Leopard's job to bring back the breakaways and no other teams even try to help us. So annoying!

@baia / FreitasPCM: Fortunately, they do still not chase when one of my riders are in there.
28.05.2011: Giro d'Italia
Stage 19
Bergamo > Macugnaga: 211.0km
To make our team even have a chance of winning the stage, we sent Denifl with the breakaway today. He was feeling good today and when he raised the pace on the Mottarone climb only Codol (Acqua & Sapone) could follow.
When they reached the top they had an advantage of 45 seconds to the closest chaser, José Luis Rubiera (Radioshack), while the pack was seven minutes behind. Denifl slowed down on the descent to wait for Rubiera.
Pozzovivo attacked from the pack on the small kick-up just before the final climb. Serpa countered and bridged up to Pozzovivo. However, they never got an advantage bigger than 45 seconds and was brought back just as we started the final climb.
On the steep roads up to Macugnaga Codol tried to distance himself from Denifl and Rubiera. However, Denifl easily brought him back and dropped both Codol and Rubiera.
Oh no! Just as the pack started the final climb Fränk Schleck got a puncture! This was also on one of the worst possible times, as the pace in the pack was very high at the moment.
Scarponi noticed that Fränk was in trouble and did a Contador. Pozzovivo, Van den Broeck, Cunego and Serpa all countered on Scarponi's move. Apparently, none of them knows what Fair Play is. Fränk is in in the red box, just behind the pack.
Just a couple of seconds later, Fränk had caught the back of the peloton. Today he had to show how strong he actually is at the moment. He lost one minute because of the puncture and he brought that back on one and a half kilometer. Well done Fränk, but Scarponi and the other favourites was ahead of the pack.
Fränk still had a lot of power left, though. With two kilometres left, he caught Serpa, who was currently third on the road after Scarponi and still Denifl. Scarponi was still half a minute ahead, so Fränk continued to power on.
500 meters later, Fränk caught Scarponi too. The Italian must have been tired, as he immediately started to struggle to follow Fränk.
One guy was still ahead of them, though. Stefan Denifl takes another nice stage win after riding almost the whole final climb alone. Because of this win he is now 11th overall, one minute behind Rohregger on 10th.
Fränk cracked Scarponi in the final kilometer and took second place. What a comeback from him after the puncture!
Gerdemann also did well today, only losing 10 seconds to Serpa and Cunego. Rohregger finished not far behind Gerdemann in 8th.

Great win by Denifl!
Schleck's comeback was great too. Although, with such a massive lead, it probably wouldn't have mattered anyways. |

Thanks guys. I know that it wouldn't have mattered, but it is always nice to gain time on your opponents.

29.05.2011: Giro d'Italia
Stage 20
Bormio > Tonale: 177.3km
Our plan today was today was to let Fränk help Gerdemann to move up to 5th overall, so Gerdemann is was our leader today. We decided to push up the pace already on Forcola di Livigno, the first climb of the day. Zaugg set a high pace and only 51 riders were able to stay in the group.
Our strong Swiss continued to push on at the front. At the foot of Gavia there was only 40 riders left in the group. We was lucky today, since both Gerdemann and Rohregger had a (+3) daily form.
When we reached the higher slopes of Gavia the favourites started pushing up the pace. Half of the riders lost contact, including Zaugg, Pires and Daniel Navarro, 14th overall.
Only eight riders were able to stay in contact over the top: Schleck, Gerdemann and Rohregger (Leopard), Scarponi and Cunego (Lampre-ISD), Serpa (Androni), Pozzovivo (Colnago) and Duarte (Geox). Great news for us, as 4th placed overall Van den Broeck was in the second group, one minute behind.
The pace got even higher on the final climb. Rohregger and Duarte lost contact almost immediately. Pozzovivo also started to struggle, while both Fränk and Linus still felt good.
Just a couple of seconds later, Scarponi's hard pace was too much for Serpa too. Cunego wasn't looking comfortable either, but our riders was still feeling strong. Gerdemann was virtually 5th, since VdB was far behind.
As Gerdemann needs time, he pushed up the pace a bit more. That was too much for both Scarponi and Cunego.
Fränk could easily have won the stage himself, but since Gerdemann needs the bonus seconds, he gave the stage to the German and completed our double win. What a great stage for our team!
Scarponi limited his losses and finished third. This was enough for him to secure his second place in the GC.
Cunego took the fourth place ahead of Serpa. He will finish fourth overall too, unless Gerdemann gains a minute on him in the TT.
This stage was Rohregger's best in this Giro. He almost caught up with Pozzovivo, but will be satisfied with his 7th place. Duarte finished shortly after Rohregger.
Behind them it was Van den Broeck who won the sprint ahead of Pinotti and Denifl. Stefan had the power to be able to win the sprint in this group, but decided to just follow VdB, so Gerdemann can gain more time on the Belgian.
