Exciting finish. Vos boxed Johansson in very effectively at the end (and Johansson got a hit on the head from a spectator), our commentators were a bit upset and talked about DQ a while...but when they finally got to see the whole thing from another angle, they agreed that it was an ok move since Johansson wasn't alongside yet.
Congratulations to them all.

Ofcourse Vos finishes 2nd, that's always the case.
Desperate to catch Arndt and Cooke she started the sprint from so far away she had to get passed.
But it's ok, predicted this would happen. Vos always finds a way too lose. |

Personally I can't wait for the WC to be over, tired of all the news about Thor Hushovd here... Reminds me of why I get tired of football-news... I bet if he cut his hair today, before the race, they will write about it
And about Pozatto, Pamela Anderson looks more manly than him :-p
Vos is the Boogerd "woman-version"

Vos's mess up was nothing compared to Nicole Cooke's. She basically threw the gold away by sitting on the Germans (can't remember her name) wheel. If she had just attacked in the last k she would have never been caught. |

Fair point but you have to wonder how much energy she had left - she had been going pretty much flat out for the entire lap and that was bound to be sapping her. |

Having just watched the women's race, no way I can see Cavendish winning this one. One of Gilbert, Cancellara, Schleck or Nibali imo.
Did seem Cooke messed the women's race up in a big way - I'd imagine Emma Pooley probably wishes that she'd really gone for it herself. |

Breschel have a good chance.
3th in 2008 and 7th in 2009.Now looks like a perfect race for him.
