Being Spanish, you should know the main difference between Latin countries and Anglo-Saxon countries is that our Right is more made of habits and traditions, compared to theirs where what's not written explicitly is permitted.
It's a bit of a caricature, but that's the idea.
Anyway, had Schleck not just attacked 10 seconds earlier, they'd probably have waited. But from that moment the race was on, so nobody could really expect Contador to wait.

How the hell Contador knew that he made a gear change fault? He told that he did not noticed that he Andy had problems at all.
