Mauro Santambrogio is now my favorite rider. It has been hilarious watching him today, and that facial expression down the finish straight pushed it over the top.
He also looks like a mouse. |

Evans managed to bring back a bit of time.
Mostly because the leading group handed away close to two minutes in the last 10k by screwing around. |

The commentators from TV5, about Evans: "C'est une image terrible". Sadly true indeed, poor Evans.

I guess Michael Rodgers and Ryder Hejesdal, although they never really had shots in the first place. |

Even if you don't like him, his love for the race is enough surely.

This is tough to watch. But the yellow jersey had to go to Shleck eventually.
Anyway, maybe BMC can pull off a Cassie move and put Evans, Ballan and Hincapie in a Pyrenees breakaway! |

Gesink said he had a hunger knock at the top of the climb and descended as a "granny in a wheelchair"
And it was thanks to Voigt he survived because Voigt gave him 2 energy gels. |

Yeah a realistic goal for Hesjedal is top 15, or top 20 when they arrive in paris. The time he lost today he can make up for in that TT and as long as he climbs as well as yesterday he could get a top 15. The climb was too long for him today as the shorter ones are suited to him better. It just frustrates me when the Versus commentators though Van Summeren who was with the Evans group was the new leader of Garmin, but like usual they forgot that Hesjedal was ahead of him. |

Evans did not eat correctly, right? And he was not exhausted after not taking a break since the winter?

Wow. Beautiful stage. Didn't expect anything from this stage, but damn, it was awesome. The only bad thing was that the television didn't show the Menchov group :<.
