A norweigan and a canadian arguing about the result in a sprint between a norweigan and a canadian. This is madness!

It's the Tour, the time where the fanboys who have been hiding all winter comes out for three weeks. |

Valverde321 is obviously wright, Hushovd had to work and give up valuable points and probably lose the stage. In that case, with Hushovd also riding, Hesjedal would have stayed in front and won the race. I mean, that's what cycling is about!

You mean a norwegian and a canadian arguing about the result of a sprint between a norwegian-canadian and a norwegian riding for a canadian team...

Its not that I'm hiding. Its just the only result that I wish could have been better from Canada's only real shot at a stage win in the Tour and i of course want to see that. Plus everyone keeps on bringing it up. *Hint *Hint.

What hole are the Hagen fans hiding in now?
So far, I've heard from them that he was going to win the prologue, then that he was going to win stage 2, then that he would win stage 3.
Have they simmered down, finally?
Right now, they are busy being Hushovd-fans.
Don't worry, they'll be back. In terms of zoologi fanboys are in the same order as moles, and behave in similar ways. Popping up whenever reality seems to remotely somewhat agree with their preconceptions. |

Yesterday Hagen gave away his bike to Bradley Wiggins after they had gone in the ground. Today he stayed with Wiggins for some time, but after that he just went further back, don't know why.
Edvald is there as a helper for Wiggins first, and if the chance comes for Edvald to win he will be allowed to go for it. Edvald's goal is to win one stage, not to win the green jersey that many think he should go for, or those that even think he should go for white/yellow this year and in the next years(yes they do really exist). |

Great stage today, full of action.
Its a shame to lose riders like Frank Schleck and Vendervelde, but I guess that is racing. More than made up for yesterdays nuetralisation.
Cadel Evans and Vino in the front favourites group, hmm does that bring back memories! Great day for Evans, puts him at the front of the favourites, though it was Andy Schleck who had a nice day tempered though by the loss of his lead mountain man (big bro).
Menchov, Van Den Broeck, Roche and Wiggins showed great fighting here and gained a huge psychological boost over Radioshack, Spanish (bar Contador) and Liquigas riders.
Ashamable fanboying here, so happy for Thomas, I recall going to the London Prologue. Was right next to Gerient fanclub when he rode for Barloworld. He stopped and signed my programme and I wondered if he would disappear into obscurity. Pretty clear what his tactics were today, suck on Hushovds wheel all day. A clear path to second place

Didn't think much of that stage, to be honest.

Valverde321, you own no logic. Hesjedal fighted to hang on with the group, and if Hushovd had tried to gain time for Schleck, along with Cancellara, Hesjedal would never be number three. Then he would end in the grupetto. And why should he deserve the stage win? Because his land is so bad that they have not manage to capture a stage win before? Go and cry, Hesjedal is not gone, he will be in the top of the result lists later in the Tour

Actually just remembered something. During the awards were the KOM Classification girls wearing umbrellas as skirts?

Good point by Vaughters. I withdraw my comments about Vino:
Vaughters (Twitter)
Vino's push was smart. Alberto flatted (2kms togo), so will be given the time of Vino's group. Therefor, the faster Vino went, the better. |

Damn fine stuff from Arashiro today, as he came 72nd, which as we all know, is basically first.
He's currently overall:
73 Yukiya Arashiro (Jpn) Bbox Bouygues Telecom 0:03:47
But we all know tomorrow is a stage built for him. A win tomorrow will set him up well for his inevitable green jersey win, and boost his confidence before his crucial Alps dominance .

Great stage today, way better than I was expecting.
Nice ride for Menchov. From the rider who was down all the time in last year's Tour to leading Contador's group on the last cobbled section.
Also about the 3km rule I thought that it applies only in the flat mass sprint stages. Didn't Schumacher crash in the final kilometers in 08 and lost the yellow jersey in an uphill finish?

Anyway, enough of that. I don't really care.
On the other hand, I do care about this (GC):
185. SORENSEN Nicki 18 TEAM SAXO BANK 15h 21' 57" + 27' 57"
186. DUMOULIN Samuel 173 COFIDIS LE CREDIT EN LIGNE 15h 24' 05" + 30' 05"
187. MALORI Adriano 207 LAMPRE - FARNESE 15h 27' 12" + 33' 12"
188. BOLE Grega 202 LAMPRE - FARNESE 15h 27' 24" + 33' 24"
189. SORENSEN Chris 17 TEAM SAXO BANK 15h 27' 29" + 33' 29"
Danish riders suck
