Some one correct me if iam wrong!
But I don't think you have to install all off them, you can install from 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.3.0
I have done that |

What I meant was that you may need to move the Local.cdb manually from Program Files/Cyanide/PCM/PCM.daily DB Backup to My Docs/PCM. |

Well Crue I reinstalled the patch, did the stuff what was in the readme file and most flags are pink and the fake Cya codes are assigned to the races. Please dont tell me I have to reinstall the whole thing again =/

There's a possibility that it detects that it's not a 1.0.3.0-local CDB file and overwrites it. Didn't know that PCM was capable of doing that, though. |

It indeed overwrites the local CDB file from the Daily package. Tried it a few times, and it happened everytime.
But found some kind of 'fix'. Make the local 'read only'. Then it won't be changed.
But also got a question with that. Would that have any side-effects?

Kami: I don't think that there are any (used) dynamic tables in the Local.cdb, so my guess is no.
The dj 12: I'm not 100 % sure about the plans right now. |

as far as i got, installing a new patch always deletes the local.cdb in MyDocuments and as soon as you start the game it copies the local.cdb out of ProgramFiles\Cyanide\blablubb\UserHome\MyDoc into the MyDocuments folder...
but not really sure for that ... Lachi should know it better, thought
for the question, if the expansion pack is still compatible with the current local.cdb ... well, just export the 2 original local.cdb (this one, wherefor the expansion pack has been done and the current one with patch 1.0.3.0) with Lachi's Editor -> create a sfv file for all xml files in one of the export folders -> move the sfv file to the other export folder and check, if the checksum's are all the same -> if not; use some text comparison tool to open the both xml files which have different checksums and browse for the changes.
should be one way to find out, if there are any important changes, which could make the expansion pack incompatible |

so if you want to install this database, what should I do?
install the game
patch to 1.0.3.0
install database
make the local.cdb a read only
is this the right way?? |

it prevents, that some executable file deletes or overwrites the local.cdb
some executable files like those of the several patches ... which would delete the local.cdb normally ... if you don't set the local.cdb read only
but for the mentioned system
-install the game
-patch to 1.0.3.0
-install database
it's not really necessary to make the local.cdb read only
it's just recommended when you plan to install a game patch AFTER you installed the database/the local.cdb of the expansion pack already ... just to protect the file from being deleted for the moment of installing a patch.
as soon as the patch is installed you better remove the read only attribute again ... else you can't change something ingame in game options, thought.

No, the patch 1.0.3.0 will overwrite the PCM.daily Local.cdb every time you start the game if it's not set as read-only. |

overwrite ... yes, seems so.
does it also remove the content of the expansion pack always?
(the content which have been added to the local.cdb by the creators of the expansion pack)
haven't checked yet... |

It replaces the PCM.daily Local.cdb with the standard patch 1.0.3.0 Local.cdb - so yes, it deletes the content (only from the Local.cdb, though). |
