Perfect start for Stetina on a very tough stage.
Only 9 riders under 4 min - what a killer !

Rodriguez/Team Novo Nordisk is once again out in front just looking for the Sprint points

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-028-2%20TOUR%20OF%20THE%20GILA-STAGE%202/3-028-2-PIC%20001_zpseiote0ik.jpg

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-80KM_zpsegkyqg4e.jpg

Holler/Thuringer Energie is about to link up to share the duties

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-60KM_zps9zzbuacq.jpg

Martz/Hincapie Sportswear has joined up with Holler but the junction to Rodriguez is proving elusive

The foursome finally got reeled in mainly down to the fast pace being set by the Jelly Belly team

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-5KM_zpsg6pvcjyx.jpg

Reijnen has done a great job in getting the Team Novo Nordisk train into contention

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-028-2%20TOUR%20OF%20THE%20GILA-STAGE%202/3-028-2-PIC%20007_zpsw45uhogi.jpg

Rodriguez is in a great position as last man in the train but has being in the breakaway taken away his energy for the sprint

Well i finish this day with a bit of a smile on my face and optimism for the rest of the race, Fred Rodriguez did well to escape and earn more Sprint points and the train did a Great job in keeping Stetina safe and keeping him in with a shout on the GC

Fantastic stage win pcmdaily.com/images/smiley/pfft.gif

Peter Stetina securing his top five with another 1/2 minute.

sutty68
Tamijo - Craddock did a good job for us today Smile and hopefully Stetina can wrestle fourth place off Sabido too Wink

Forever the Best
CraddockCool
On the Gila Stetina is 5th overall because of the breakaway on stage 1 that took the first 3 places.Without it he would have been 2nd.I hope Stetina passes those breakaway riders at the end of the race.
Go Stetina!

The guys organised themselves well for the run-in but unfortunately it wasn't to be, still i am sure Rodriguez will be happy with a top ten finish

Tamijo
Fine Top 10 from Fred Rodriguez
And it seem like James Stemper lost time today, falling out of GC. Making Peter's top 5 a little bit more safe.

sutty68
Tamijo - It was a great effort from Rodriguez today and Stetina still holding on in there on the GC too Wink

Well thats a great way to finish the race, congratulations to Peter Stetina on the win and his Final Overall position of fourth

Tamijo
Bang !! - Holding off Mancebo and Van der Velde to get this win, nice very very nice. And of course that extra spot on the GC, is great too.

Tamijo - It was great to see Stetina win but it would have been better to see him win the GC though Wink
