THE STAGE

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-100KM_zps1y7arcf2.jpg

Van Hoecke/Topsport Vlaanderen, Valentin/Cofidis, Mironov/RusVelo and Morajko/CCC Polsat are ahead on the road with a lead of 6m 9s

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-025-2-TOUR%20OF%20TURKEY-STAGE%202/3-025-2-PIC%20001_zpssjdlx2gl.jpg

SPRINT - Valentin/Cofidis

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-80KM_zpsegkyqg4e.jpg

The peleton seem happy to allow them there time in front of the TV cameras

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-025-2-TOUR%20OF%20TURKEY-STAGE%202/3-025-2-PIC%20002_zps1o8lamcw.jpg

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-60KM_zps9zzbuacq.jpg

Still no reaction coming from the pack

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-025-2-TOUR%20OF%20TURKEY-STAGE%202/3-025-2-PIC%20003_zps2mnlkzjp.jpg

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-40KM_zpsgh3wdv9w.jpg

They still continue to tap out a nice rhythm together

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-025-2-TOUR%20OF%20TURKEY-STAGE%202/3-025-2-PIC%20004_zpsdy1ghz5p.jpg

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-20KM_zpskurbz4v9.jpg

The peleton have now stepped on the gas and have reduced the breaks advantage to a little over a minute

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-025-2-TOUR%20OF%20TURKEY-STAGE%202/3-025-2-PIC%20005_zpsopw0smse.jpg

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-10KM_zps0byiryz3.jpg

The breakaway has reluctantly decided to ease up with the attack as the peleton closes in to within 20s

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-025-2-TOUR%20OF%20TURKEY-STAGE%202/3-025-2-PIC%20006_zpseccxqhi2.jpg

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-5KM_zpsg6pvcjyx.jpg

Its Belkin who are forcing the pace on the front of the peleton

But he just doesn't have enough in the tank to beat Appollonio of AG2R La Mondiale who takes stage two right at the line

Tamijo
Sometimes you just feels sorry for those boys in the breakaway, riding in a hard Turkey sun all day, and it comes to nothing.

Nice to see the Pope dressing up a little bit. pcmdaily.com/images/smiley/lol.gif

Tamijo - At least the breakaway riders get seen on TV Wink And hopefully the Pope will join us for training pretty soon too Pfft

THE STAGE

With a lead of 4m 23s it looks like Van Hoecke/Topsport Vlaanderen, Kovalev/RusVelo, Bessy/Cofidis and Honkisz/CCC Polsat have been given there freedom
