Francesco Mancebo became Spanish marathon champion.
He will also be racing the Vuelta Ciclista Chichuahua next week.

And many other good riders, e.g. Xavier Tondo, Juanjo Cobo, ...
It's a pretty strong line-up: https://www.vuelta....com/2009/ (Equipos) |

Why there are these strong climbers? I can see no climbs in profiles of the stages... |

Probably sayed already..but let me get out that frustration. and be chauvinist.
Cofidis did not get Pro Tour license..suck that UCI.
Diquigiovanni, and Acqua e Sapone get one..great at least we have 2 new dopers pro tour teams.

No, they've not got a license, they've got guarenteed entry to all protour events.
So they're in effect protour, but without the shiny badge.

Blood transfusions are still widely used. Under such circumstances, our leader Sandy Casar will never win a Grand Tour, when he certainly has the quality to do it.

What a devastating quote. Do you have a link to the interview/article/something where he said that? Not like I don't belive it (on the contrary), but I'd like to read all he says there. |

Was on the paper print of the L'Humanité newspaper. With any luck, it may also be on the website

I think when you take points of riders who wiil be on these teams, they'd have much more points than Cofidis and Bouyges, I think that is also a criterium for UCI ;-) And licence for RadioShack isn't still confirmed ;-) |

It just makes you wonder how succesful Casar could be in an ideal (clean) world. To me he seems like such a 'complete' cyclist. |

Thanks
It makes me very mad when I hear how "bad" is french cycling (very common to hear this in Spain, btw) and then people like Casar come to my mind. |

No suprise there. Dekker B-sample is positive and he admits using epo. He says he will sit out his sentence and return after. |

why doesn't he quit for life and start youth training camps like Kohl where he can teach kids how doping is bad for you?
