I agree, would be nice to see an all-Portuguese team, but I guess you need the odd spaniard. You should try to only sign spaniards if they are concidered for a leader roll and you can't find an equivalent portugese. |

Stage 1
Dresden - Werdau
First day...sprinters failed at Gp Torres Vedras..now they are back to try again a take stage win. If they wont be sucesful..I am starting a thought ..to leave them out at Vuelta squad..
Where they have probably much stronger rivals anyway..
..and sprint..they missed again it. 20 th. place is not good enough when sprint starting.
at the front..Jurgen Roelandts, René Weissinger, Javier Benitez...Jonas Ljungblad.
Benitez takes a lead..Roelandts (rider still don't have a team for next season) follows..
Cardoso comng and fast..he passing several riders and is one of the fastest man inisde last km. But to late..
When I look Saxo sprinters Goss and Rasmussen results ..then I should be pleased.
Stage win and leader jersey for Javier Benitez Contentpolis - Ampo.

Stage 2
Zwickau - Frohburg
Stage 2 for sprinters..tomorrow serious hills to take..and then long TT. This is last stage for sprinters to hold a leader jersey..
Now we talking boys..last corner and we have both our sprinters..Manuel Cardoso and Pinto in positon. They follow Columbia duo Renshaw and he's lead out man Sieberg..
..and all out.
Sieberg is out of the game..he has done he's job. Renshaw seems to be strong...
Renshaw was to strong for us..but 2 and 3rd. place. Looking good...I should take sprinters to Vuelta after all.

Stage 3
Leipzig - Görlitz
This will be one Sachsen of the key stages before decisive TT...
51km. to go..and there go's tour leader out of the back door...this tempo and hills has been to much for Javier Benitez..
Look at that..this is what is situation when we have 1km to climb..tempo has absolutely destroyed a main group. Just select group left at the front..good to have Guerra still in it.
43km. to go....Guerra countered atack in the final summit and get away with Herrada...they getting away.
BMC and Moos..Moos atacked alone away from chase group and has cought. Herrada , Guerra duo..
..and he has atacked again..
Guerra has riden that gap down again..he follows Moos backwheel..
Then Moos launched another atack..how the hell he has so much energy left? This was it for Guerra ..he cant follow that mad man.
Guerra is not looking good..he cant follow Herrara and Marco Corti duo..and there is also Monfort.
Like this is not enough..hit just keep on coming..Milram leader Knees has passed Guerra group..and going alone after Moos..
Moos seems to unstopable today..he has just 8km. to go..and keep on pushing.
Alexander Gottfried makes a small surprise for me..he has also separating all alone ..and going after Knees..
Guerra group..Guerra must be lucky to still hanging on in this group with..Sevilla, Vazgues, Pate, Robert Radosz, Monfort, Bartosz Huzarski...
Super strong ride..stage win..leader jersey for Moos. he is in great position before TT stage..
Hugh group has cought Guerra group..Isidro Nozal was in it God to have him in strike position before the TT..he is still in the game.
Results:
1 Alexandre Moos BMC Racing Team 4h48'27

I don´t know how in Guido´s , but in my own game is Moos at least similar or even better then Guerra. And don´t forget about fitness and daily form. I´m pretty sure, Guerra is still far away from top form |

PRUEBA VILLAFRANCA - ORDIZIAKO KLASIKA
We have to take same lap six times...
17 riders group getting early away..60km. to go and Fuglsang , Mares and Serpa atacking..
Several teams trying to take a control..and close down gap between hugh breakaway group..Andalucia, Fuji teams..
Fuglsang and Serpa has cought early breakaway group..things aint looking good enough for us.
last lap and atack..Fuglsang, Serpa and Mares again..
Last hill for main group..Plaza knows he has no chanche to tae a race win..But he would like to test he's legs on that last hill..he is getting away.
5km. to go..and here is breakaway riders group..
Lead trio is ready for sprint..
Plaza passes that group and keep on going..
Fuglsang takes a victory..(I would like to se him at the Vuelta)..2nd. Mares 3rd. Serpa
Plaza comes 5th. looks like he is ready and we have a leader for Portugal tour..
