Well I seem to remember that Barloworld achieved next to nothing in the Giro, so perhaps that has something to do with why they aren't riding
maybe, but then Xacobeo (even if there's Mosquera) ? |

It is surprising, I agree. Although I was aware that Xacobeo were publicly expressing their hope for an invite. |

I think Barloworld will be added to the final list of wild cards, there's still two places remaining |

They have a pretty good squad, plus they have a hell lot of good connections. Just look at their team presentation |

Well it would be a shame if Visconti didnt get a ride considering that he did so well last year. |

1st 2nd and third each get a cherry Pie
If Cozza or Z wins one, then be quick to volunteer to eat it, so they won't get cherry pie stuck in their facial hair
Last I saw Cozza's beard was of epic proportions. He keeps saying he is training to become a homeless man.

Oh, and by the way: Saxo Bank has finally come up with an excuse for why they've been paying Damsgaard with a lovely racing bike.
It was, according to Saxo Bank, the way to pay him off for some extra work that he had done for the team - something which didn't have much to do with the anti-doping programme. He was asked to check the blood values of some of the riders that Saxo Bank was potentially interested in - and Damsgaard's informations actually resulted in Saxo Bank not offering a contract to some of the riders.
... right, the guy who came up with that must have been a genius.
Edit: And if it really is true, that's another hit at Dekker

So either they're saying they managed to test riders they were interested in throughout several months to establish a longitudinal profile.
Or they're saying they tested riders once and immediately established "untrustworthy" without knowing if the values are natural, how they vary, or anything else.
Right.
Bullshit.

Or maybe UCI sent them the blood passport profile? |

Exactly. As I remember, they said back in the autumn that they would check all potential riders' blood passport.
Never.

Well, I still don't believe it for a second. I'm just saying it could be true
... if UCI is allowed to 'spread' personal details like that? I doubt it, actually. |

Now, this may just be me, but what's the point by RCS of inviting Lampre and Liquigas and last year Astana and not inviting Fuji, CSF and Barloworld this year?
Other than politics, where's the logic?

Quality of their roster? (or "roaster" as a certain someone somewhere on the internet keeps saying )

No doubt that fx. Fuji's toaster is no way as strong as many of the other PT-teams - but, with the P-N teamlist today, we got a clear indication that they won't be riding the Tour. So, the Giro would be their main goal along with the Vuelta. I mean, what do they expect from the Bouygues-Boxes?
Second of all, it would be sad if Fuji should pull out because of not being in any of the big races, except Pais Vasco, Amstel, Romandie, Catalunya and San Sebastian

They expect the boxes to be in every move and attack, always fighting for everything and livening up the race substantially, as they always do
Also, "toaster"? |

Yes, toaster. The newly Danish dialect of roster.
Looking forward to that Boxing B-team, then B)
