this could well turn out the same way Salzburg did. only a smaller pack.
The Salzburg course was much, much harder

There was also a decent down to the finish in salzburg. The climb was harder as isso indicated. |

I think there is a relatively big chance of a "bunch" sprint. The pack that was left with the U23 riders was quite big, although they didnt catch the break.
You must remember that the U23 race was only 170 km. Although they're U23, they can of course do 200 km and the race length of the race was not enough to make it as hard as we could expect the elites to be.
Never.

Also remember that team tactics will be much between the two races. Riders will be more experienced in elite. |

there is no downhill after the last climb, which makes it harder for a bunch sprint, actually. |

It does however make it easier for the bunch to organize a chase. If its downhill a break can get down easier because they are not in a bunch. Its pretty much easier to say that they will have different outcomes. |

No, the lack of a downhill makes it HARDER to organise a chase. Since the pack will be completely in pieces on the climb, and there is only 4km left. |

I do agree but i think that if a number of teams miss the break the will be going full out to get them back.
However, has anyone else noticed that there is a LOAD of punctures in this race? |

I only referred to Salzburg because there was a bunch sprint there because nobody was able to get away properly. |

There wasn't a bunch sprint in salzburg.
Remember...
They had broken away before the final KM... |

Its hard to tell, they are really working well together and everyone is going to benefit from this. its all going to lie down to the leader at the end of the day. |

in a way, i really hope Bettini doesn't win, having a retired world champion, meh...
But another way i really do hope he wins, because he deserves it.

Me but I have the hope that Ballerini will have a clever tactic for that race , not like the U23 and the Womans Race Manager who missed definetly the race |
