Race Masters Evolved - Race 5 - Italy - Vallelunga - Qualification
Paul Rosanski is a real qualification specialist because he already takes his third pole-position this season. Last race he started second but took the victory after Schumacher fell out the race with a few laps to go. That Schumacher is now second, with six hundreds of a second slower. Panico is once again doing very well by taking a third position. Although he isn’t as dominant as the first three races, he’s still there and tries to do damage control. Last race it went very well for him. Clark will race this weekend again and he takes a sixth place during qualification. Not bad, although his teammate starts on pole. The surprise of the qualification is by far Arie DePalma. The Italian driver gets wings from his home public and drove a fantastic time. He did even better than Gambino, the third Italian on the grid. This could be an awesome race tomorrow.
The Local Heroes
Moreno Costa did well by taking a fifth position. With Panico only two position in front of him it’s not a very bad result. A podium would be nice in his home race. Arie DePalma drove an awesome qualification by taking a tenth place. It’s by far his best performance this season and hopefully for him he’ll drive a good race as well. Maybe points are possible? Ricciardo Gambino may be a bit disappointed about his qualification. ‘Only’ an eleventh place. And even worse: the worst Italian driver on the starting grid. Nevertheless points are still in sight for the Italian driver and he’d really take some during his home race.
The Local Team
No Mazzilionia Racing driver on pole and almost not within the Top-3, but Panico eventually took a third place. Moreno Costa is not far behind him on a fifth position. The Italian team would really like to take the victory here but the dominance of Panico so over at the moment. A podium would be a good result as well. Maybe both drivers on the podium?
Top-3 Press Conference
Paul Rosanski: “Another Pole-Position, a very nice result for us and the team. I’m also happy that Justin will race this weekend as well. Hopefully I can hold this position tomorrow because we’ve had some trouble so far on the Sundays. But at least this Pole and point won’t be taken away!”
Sebastian Schumacher: “Second place is not a very bad result although I’d prefer the first place. Actually I should be happy with this because at the start of the season we’ve had some trouble on the Saturdays. Hopefully I can take revenge tomorrow after my bad last race. I’m looking forward to it.”
Antonio Panico: “Unfortunately no Pole-Position in the team’s home race, which I really hoped for. Nevertheless a third place still gives some opportunities for the race tomorrow and the only place which counts is the first place. With less than that I’m not happy, especially at one of our home races.”

Arie DePalma: “I've no experience with this track, hell I've never even heard of it before. looks fun though. a first sector that almost full speed and the second and third sector are really full or corners. it's going to be important to find the right balance between downforce and topspeed. hopefully I'm able to find that balance so that Jakob has a chance to get our first points (we are nice within the team and share our data).”
The surprise of the qualification is by far Arie DePalma.

"I am very happy with the Pole-Position i've managed to get for the team. Tomorrow there will be a hard battle for the win with Panico and Schumacher. I honestly don't think, that the win is possible against those two, but i will try to make it as hard as possible for them to pass me. On top of this, a very good qualifying from my teammate. He isn't as good as me on Saturdays, but I think, that he could pull of some great results in the near future." - Paul Rosanski
P.S.: Nice, to see that you're back.

A shame you've found this a bit too late... We still have 11 races to go for the first season. If someone would like to stop at the end of the season, or maybe earlier, then you'll get a chance to take a place.
Nevertheless you could follow it for now.

@MrUfo87: maybe he could make a rider now, and the rider could be a reserve rider for a team, if someone gets hurt or if some rider gets thrown out of the team...
EDIT: before you do anything MrUfo87....could you please update the first page(classifications and stuff...)?

I've already simulated the race on Vallelunga and I've edited all my documents after that, so if I do it now I'll give away the results of the race. I'll edit it after I've posted this race.
Not a very bad idea, I'll think about it.

Yeah I'll definately follow in here
I hope there will be room for me sometime. I don't mind building up from scratch really, so if someone isn't active I could take their spot at some point, or perhaps go as a test-driver or something like that

Race Masters Evolved - Race 5 - Italy - Vallelunga - Race
Number of Laps: 32
Sebastian Schumacher takes his first victory in the Race Masters Evolved! After he started the race second he rode to the victory and also set the fastest lap of the race. Antonio Panico does damage control and finishes second. Last race Rosanski took a few points back, now Schumacher. It doesn’t matter for the driver of San Marino. Rosanski, the man who started on pole, fell back and finished sixth. He may not be happy with that. His teammate did much better and finished third, which is his first podium. A great effort for Clark, after he missed last race because of an injury. Costa and Keselowski managed to finish in front of Rosanski as well. Schumacher’s teammate, Joe Armstrong, only finished seventh, in front of both Wolf Motorsports cars who both took points. Kurt Jensson took the last point, just ahead of his teammate and Angelo’s first driver Timothy Raue. It was a bad weekend for Travinski and Yaktutoka; both cars didn’t make it till the finish.
The Local Heroes
No Italian driver on the podium and two Italian drivers who didn’t finished. The home race didn’t went very well for the Italian drivers. Moreno Costa took a fourth place, but Arie DePalma, who surprised in the qualification by taking 10th place, and Ricciardo Gambino didn’t make it till the finish. A shame, especially for Gambino who did very well the first three races but didn’t finished last race as well. Hopefully for them the other race in Italy at Adria will be better.
The Local Team
Since Mazzilionia isn’t as dominant as the first three races they’re doing still very well. The Saturdays could go better, but on the Sundays they’re there. Also this weekend. Panico takes second place and only Schumacher takes points back, but four points isn’t that much. Costa missed the podium by two seconds but takes important points for the constructors championship. All by all a good weekend for the Italian team, although they aren’t very happy that they missed the victory for the home public. Fortunately for them they have another chance, at Adria.
Top-3 Press Conference
Sebastian Schumacher: “This was an awesome race and I’m happy that I finally have my first victory. We were struggling the first four races and last race I had to give up while leading the race. I’m happy that I’ve won this weekend and this really gives a motivation boost to me and the team. With an eye on the championship it’s a shame that Panico finishes second, but I still enjoy this victory.”
Antonio Panico: “The victory was the only thing which counted today, but we didn’t win so we failed for home public. I’m not very happy with this second place. Nevertheless only Schumacher takes back a few points so it wasn’t a bad weekend at all, but it could’ve been much better.”
Justin Clark: “Wow, my first podium! I’m very happy with that. The first three races of the season didn’t went very well and I missed last race because of an injury. This is a very welcome result for me and I’d really thank the team for all the work they’ve done. Hopefully Paul and I will be on the podium often this season. Seeing Paul winning in Jérez really motivated me and I’m happy to be on the podium. My next goal is my first victory, but that’ll be a tough mission.”
Drivers Quotes
“I can smell the points!”
(And does it smell good, François Botha?)
“After such a good qualification I hoped for more in my home race.”
(Arie DePalma is disappointed)
“I’m happy with my point.”
(Kurt Jensson is happy with his point)
“I almost took a point, but my teammate took it just in front of me.”
(Timothy Raue isn’t happy with Kurt Jensson’s point)
“Next time I’ll try to start sixth and finish first instead of the other way round.”
(Or do you lose then five positions as well and finish 11th, Paul?)
“Two cars in the points, but next time I prefer to finish in front of James.”
(It’s difficult to have a satisfied Seamus Doherty)
“I lost a tyre, it must’ve looked like a tricycle.”
(James Day has a good imagination)

Very nice! After being close last time the car could hold this time so Seb had a good shot at the win and took the win easily!
It seems as if he sits in the best car at the moment! Let's hope this stays that way!
“I’m happy with my point.”
(Kurt Jensson is happy with his point)

Podium. Shame that Paul seems to go backwards every race but at least I'm moving forwards to pick up more points. Great battle for second in the Constructors' Championship.
