Yeah but he is in crap form. We'll see what happens. I predict Kelderman riot. |

Is there such a thing as form with De Gendt? It's invariably random from one day to the next so on that basis he could be up there

only if Quintana doesn't take pink in the upcoming mountains
Indeed, Quintana complained about pain caused by a crash in the first week, if he feels good in the upcoming mountains... I don't see anyone capable of following him. |

After all the crashes we have seen that doesnt surprises me anymore. I wonder if someone will manage to crash today at the Start Ramp. |

Is there a schedule for when the top 10-20 starts? I don't really bother following it untill the GC-rider start crossing the line.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Ulissi starts at 15.20 CET, start interval is 3 minutes, Evans starts at 16:20 , Uran 16:17....

Too bad for Chris, especially since his terrain nears. He hasnt looked great the last couple of years and i personally thnik he needs a new team., try something new. I specifically remembers him from 2009 (new stage Contador won to Verbier), where it looked like he could be that kinda guy that could ride 2-3 kms at full gas and split the peloton. He has shown that he isnt that guy as he often struggles and barely survives climbs (think of a Sastre light), so he really isnt suited for a role for Contador in the Tour + the fact that the only thing he is really good at is long climbs and the Tour is SO much more than that.
He needs a change and needs to perform better. He needs a team where he is free to go in breaks at a consistent basis which is what he is clearly best at. |
