Anyway, the Mountain AI still looks bad, and the interface for "more control before the race" is the exact same commands as before except now they are just pictures and a beginner would have no clue what they all mean, so really just a step back.
Things of Interest:

ermm.... yeah
Gameplay looks almost identical. Official stats are as random as ever. Just nothing looks that new, which could be a good thing. Perhaps all the changes are actually away in the Career mode!
Do like the new darker menu scheme. Looks a lot more professional and PCM13's schemes were really kind of bad.
That's horrible, truly horrible. Again, no selection at all, all favourites attack on a flat from 150-men peloton. It's less realistic than PCM2010. The game has gone backwards since then. How disappointing.
If that's how final version of the game looks like, I will definetely not buy the game this year. I hope they'll realise what is the main issue and solve it one day. Because for me, it's just no fun to play like this.
Nope. 2 PCMfocus guys visited the HQ though. I might translate what they'll write at the PCMfocus site, to inform the non-Dutch-speaking members as well. That is, if there's enough useful info about the game itself in it.
I believe they were quite positive, but I'm not 100% certain.

I don't think he is a beta tester but a "Let's play" guy (looking at his videos and name) where he might have asked Cyanide or Cyanide gave him a version to make a video of the game.
For smaller companies they do this because it's "marketing" right to the fans and they (the company) doesn't need to do anything.
Also looking at the games version he seems to have a updated one with v1.0.5 or so.

He was at Cyanide HQ during the presentation and played on a computers of a developer. (That's why you see Eyolfurs name at the beginning of the video.)
He said that you can give orders to the riders at the beginning of the stage (the "Briefing". On a mountain stage you could tell Cavendish to take it easy and he will ride to the finish without any further interaction from you. And it looked like you can also do it during the stage.
Also, if I understood correctly, you can asign a second command to the riders. For example attack, then short relay.
Right Lachi. The player can assign a second order to be considered after the attack. He assigned dot command as second order in this video.
Also the most noticeable change I found on this video is the strategy menu before a 3D race (presented at about 2:00 in this video). There you can assign similar orders that you would have given to simulate the race. This should automatize rider's behavior during the race I suppose.
