Gene_i_weight in Dyn_region is 45 for Venezuela, the highest of any region. It causes Venezuela to produce a big amount of talents. Probably a typo for 5 or 15.

It's the same in the OfficialRelease DB.

AUS 50
VEN 45
USA 40
.
.
.
FRA 3-6

Not sure if it's intented to be that far off... That said, there were amazing talents from AUS after my first season... didn't check for VEN and USA ones...

Jesleyh
That's... stange...
Why would Venezuela produce so many talents?
France makes sense ofc, they've got a lot of regions. Same for Italy, Netherlands, Spain etc.

And why would France produce that less talents? Looking at those values only the 0s and 1s for obscure countries did make any sense to me.

Well, France got like 14 regions(About, not sure how many exactly). If they have gene_i_weight 4, they'll have a 4x14=56 in total. So more than Australia Wink
Same for Netherlands, Italy, Germany & Spain.

Ok, that makes sense...

Just checked the save game. In the first year, no pot8 talent (might be intended),
1 Pot7 talent each from AUS, UKR, LET, POR, FRA, ITA. Does not sound too far off, but should be checked every year.

Anyone with multiple seasons so far?

Jesleyh
Well, 1 save-game isn't enough to test things like this. My experiences are good though, though sometimes the riders are a bit too Merckx...

Another thing, which deserves its own post(so sorry for double-posting Pfft)

The Downhill limits are out of control. About 30 riders end up with 82 downhill, another 20 with 81 downhill etc.

Jesleyh
You have to change the race ID, as explained in the tutorial a few pages back.

Ok i did so, i tried changing the ID didnt work. Then i changed the ID in the carrier .cdb with pcm fast editor, now when i load the save i get runtime error and game shuts down.. anyway to save my save? please help, in my game i am currently riding with my cousin as the captain, extremely good fun. So thanks to the database creators.

I would grately appreciate any and all help to recover my game and get me past 29/06

peder3110
I added variant to, but i think my game crashing has something to do with the use of the fast editor... anyone know something i dont?

try Lachis or Excel, these do not harm my saves, but I'm yet at 5/13 in my carrier so still haven't been on that date, picture I used is by official DB makers about 5 or more pages old.

Did you edit your current save game? not a DB which is used only at start a carrier...

Yes i edited my current saveg, really really sad cause i had perhaps the best savegame in my managerial carrier... is the pcm fast editor known to harm saves?

No, it isn't.
Could you attach your save-game? I can take a look at it for once. As long as you tell me which tables you edited, since I don't really want to go through all the .cdb tables to see what's wrong Pfft

I only changed the ID of stage six of you now what. And added in the variant field.. Might it have something to do with the fact that i changed CDX file in the program file folder? probably not.. Anyways, big thanks for taking a look at it.. It means alot! as i said, great game going with my cousin captaining

You didn't have a last stage selected for the race in DYN_race.
Not sure how, but doesn't matter.

Here you go Wink
