Thanks to both of you for the comments!
Guys, these Tirreno and Paris - Nice stages are turning out to be, well, not so exciting. I was thinking about going through these stages rather quickly, in order to move a bit faster with the story. After these two races end, it would be back to normal again. What do you think?

I thought it was a bit dull as well, but looking at the stages, they were pretty dull to start with, no mountain finish or anything. So maybe give it another chance? Or maybe combine 2 stages in 1 report?
But well, it's upto you, as Sutty says
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well, I'll wrap up P-N quickly and then maybe do some shorter (3 pics) reports for Tirreno. What do you think?

Disappointing race, only positive is the good form of Hoogenboom before the MSR.

Thanks for both of the comments, Jesleyh , I was actually thinking about that, when I saw how he hanged on through the Prato di Tivo.
Hoogenboom is our outright leader here. We'll look to keep it together, hope for the best in a mass sprint. However, if things don't go to our first preference, we'll still have strong riders, such as Van der Valde , Pye and Sithembile . To chase on the flat, we brought some strong ruleours, like Bányai , Jensen and Thompson . Pretty strong squad I think.
Most of the big sprinters are here, Cav , Greipel , Sagan ,Hoogenboom and Kittel are all participating. The main favourite is obviously the slovakian, however there are plenty of puncheurs/classics specialists looking for the win too. Cancellara , Boonen , Gilbert and Boasson Hagen are also really serious contenders. All in all, strong startlist here.

Great riding from Kim and Dasko in P-N. Last few stages in Tirreno were not for sprinters.
Good luck in MSR.

Wow, Hoogenboom in amazing form!
He got this!
But allright, if he can't keep up, he will give everything to help our puncheurs.

@Ian Butler -
@Ollfardh - He'll have a quite long one...
@mvhoogdalem - Thanks
@Selwink - Thanks!
@Miguel98 - I'd be happy if he would...
@Jesleyh - I hope he can win it, if not, he'll have to help.
@sutty - Thanks!
An iconic profile, the first monumentum of the year, the Milano - San Remo is coming. The big question headlining the race: Sprint or late attack?
A monumentum is real similar to a simple stage in terms of early breakaways. We had one here too, not a big one though, with the biggest names being Garzelli and Kroon .
The pack didn't let the break get too big of a lead, Argos , Cannondale and Orica controlled things nice, dictating the pace for the bunch. It wasn't too high, but it was enough to keep the escapees within sight.
RadioShack also felt it necessary to go upfront and push it a bit, that resulted in bringing the breakaway back with around 50 kilometres to go. Wasn't that a bit early guys? I know you're excited, but still...
Rider on the ground! Thabo Sithembile managed to fall uphill! What an unlucky situation for him! Fortunately he could rejoin the peloton without any harm. That brought us to the Cipressa.
Sagan is attacking early! The slovakian is not waiting too much, he wants to power away from the pack! Can he sustain his push or will he ge caught? It's Omega Pharma - Quickstep hitting the front immediately, relaying hard. The peloton really feel this push, many are dropping now as the pack gets sliced up.
Peter Sagan gets caught on the Cipressa, however the pace drops a bit and a belgian duo gets away. Leukemans and Van Avarmaet are the ones reaching the top first, while the pace is initiated by Fabian Cancellara in the lead group. The race is on, ladies and gentlemen!
It's all back together, around 30 people riding in the lead group right now, 4 Spiders are still there, Van der Valde , Hoogenboom , Sithembile and Pye are hanging on!
We're on the slopes of the Poggio now, Sagan is leading the way ahead of Van Avarmaet , but Hoogenboom is also there with Van der Valde , right in the second row. The slovakian wonderkid can't break the elite group, but a few riders get dropped. Sithembile is really struggling, hopefully he can hang on through the downhill part.
We're nearing the sprint right now, no pace in the front group, as nobody wants to lead out the others. We try to position all our riders near the front, but it's not easy to manage.
The sprint starts, Van der Valde hits the front, however it seems like he went early! Peter Sagan is right on his wheel, after him Hoogenboom comes.
Cancellara bursts through, he gets a huge lead over the pack! Can he make it all the way through or somebody like Paolini or Chavanel can surprise him?
What a sprint by Tom Boonen ! The belgian champ wins the race! Cancellara comes 2nd outsprinting Paolini , all three are showing good signs ahead of the classics. Chavanel comes 4th, World Champion Gilbert takes the 5th with Hoogenboom finishing 6th. We had also another top 10, Nick Van der Valde managed to get 10th.
Spider of the Day/DS Reaction
Van der Valde - 1 Nice sprint, good result.
Hoogenboom - Not now mate. Disappointing speed at the end.
Pye - 1
Sithembile - 1 IRON MAN!
