Your story is really great! I like stories of small teams. Now you're Pro-Tour, but that doesn't matter to me, because your story is just great! Keep on writing, can't wait until your next post!

Chris Hoy can call himself the moral winner of the World TT championships! Botero is obviously doped, and now Cancellara has tested positive:
We enter the penultimate ProTour race of the season!
Stannard trys to get in the break, along with 21 others, and it doesnt work, so Vennell ends up in the break that gets away
The break wont win and later in the race, 4 riders normally better suited to the cobbles all attack.
Hincapie, Hoste, Ballan and Flecha
None of them can distance Ballan before the sprint, so theyve got no chance.
Tom Boonen took 5th - but only just ahead of Mark Cavendish
Ian Stannard was our only rider to finish in the peleton.

We bring Hoy, Mattan, Oliphant, Mouris, Helminen, Blyth and Pollock to our last stage race of the seaso, neither Hoy nor Mattan plan to finish it due to other races they wish to end their season at.
So why bring Hoy at all? Well, the race starts with a prologue and being in incredible form certainly helps, Hoy takes an easy win

Stage 2
Mattan wanted to get in the breakaway, but was chased down - so Blyth went instead
It all came down to a sprint and itn the run up to it, it wasnt clear who had the best wheel but HealthNet emerged with 3km to go as O'Bee led Gritters - with Pollock on his wheel!
Gritters looks very good with only Pollock and Gerrans to challenge him
So the American wins - Pollock takes a brilliant 2nd

Stage 3
Pollock took 2nd in an early intermediate sprint
But as you might be able to see, the front group of around 20 riders has a large gap to the peleton. Most drop back, but before he realises it - Pollock finds himself 3 minutes ahead with 2 Ag2r and 2 Drapac Porsche riders.
He decided he may aswell give it a go, but ultimately the break stood no chance.
Nico Mattan knows this could be his last chance of a victory and is feeling very good today, he enlists the support of Chris Hoy, and with 15km to go:
They attack, Mattan giving it all for one last win, and Hoy giving it his all to help our team leader.
The sprint begins with a healthy gap:
And Nico does it!!!!! A great way to bow out of professional cycling

Stage 4
Chris Hoy is still the race leader, but he has a plane to catch to get to France. He attacks from the gun
Wins an intermediate sprint
And is caught after 52km
He then abandons and quickly heads to the nearest Airport for a flight to Vendee, France.
The hill has a couple of hills in it which weakens the pack for the sprint. Elmiger looks to set up Gerrans with Stevic right there - Mattan and Oliphant are also looking for top 10 spots.
Gerrans holds off Stevic for victory!

Stage 5
A hilly stage which Mattan does not start, like Hoy, he too must head back to Europe, this time for a cobbled race in Belium which if our team's final race of the season, and his final race of his career.
A hill in the middle of the stage completely caught us out, only Helminen stayed in the peleton, and Pollock and Oliphant led the chase from the first chase group for much of the 2nd half of the stage - Mouris and Blyth were too far back now to get back in, which is a shame for Mouris inparticular.
The action came on the hill near the finish is race leader Higgerson caught early attacker Gianni Meersman (Winner of the Tour of Poland)
A group of 6 riders emerged, all with bad sprints
Froome, Vandborg, Moreau, Higgerson, O'Neill, Hesjedal
Froome led out and Vandborg won the stage after Higgerson waited too long to make his move

Hoy has arrived in time to join Staff and Nolf for the Chrono des Herbiers.
Brett Lancaster set down an early benchmark
But Jamie Staff comfortably beat the time.
Chris Hoy then came along and completed demolished the field. Here he is passing the 2nd of 3 riders he caught and passed on the course.
He finished a whopping 1'58 ahead of Jamie Staff - meaning that if Staff had started just before him, they would have finished at the same time! Everyone else would have been passed by him.
Cummings was a 3rd Brit in the Top 10, while Nolf came 1 second away from 10th place.

Evan Oliphant would lose 9th in the GC as he caused a crash that took down many, including 2nd overall Vandborg.
Jens Mouris also crashed - only Pollock would finish in the lead group for us
The stage win goes to Vaitkus, while Pollock fades to 8th. GC win goes to Higgerson who was fortunate to avoid the crashes.
