So Wiggins definitely has the advantage in TDF when it comes to TT.
Great to see that Jurgen VDB's training worked out well, considering his good performance today.
19 tough stages --->50 km ITT
4 flatish/hilly stages ---> 50 km ITT
There's a big difference
No, really?
I know that, but if you compare him to other contenders, he seems to be doing fine, and they all got the same 4 flat stages as him.
So after 19 tough stages, everyone will be tired, I'm just comparing relatively between them |

Yes, but then after 19 stages and mountains recovery comes into place. Here not so much. Well he's definitely the best TT'er out of all GC contenders but is his recuperation as good ? We'll see.

Evans still dangling a little ahead of Wiggins, either he has sped up or Wiggins has relented a little. |

Either Wiggins is in insane form or he overcooked it. I think the latter |

Maybe Evans has been so aggressive so far in the last few stages because his Time trialing is a bit off at the moment?

I agree with you. (Actually, my latest comment was more about VDB )
VDB's recovery is really good.
Wiggins recovery after tough mountains, that we'll have to see indeed.
I still think Evans is going to take home first place in TDF. |

Yes, guess he may have known he's not in his best shape yet. Hope he finds it at the Tour. |

Could be a possibility.
Or maybe he's TT is a bit off because he was so aggressive, that's also possible.
Let's just hope he takes both the aggressiveness and his normal TT legs to TDF! |

Ok he's in insane form but faded a bit on the final split. The form Wiggins is in is a bit too good if you want to win tour de france for my liking. |

Cearly Sky believe he is still building towards the Tour and he is capable of multiple peaks to take on Paris-Nice, Romandie, Dauphine and Tour. Only time will tell... |

So Wiggins won't win the tour then? |

Nice win by Wiggins. Hope he can keep this form.
Great performance by Kelderman, too.

Super ride by Kelderman.
And Wiggins too of course. Evans held him off in a good way in the finale though.

To be fair outside of Martin and Wiggins it's a decent TT for Evans with Rogers, Chavanel, Kelderman and Froome also impressing.
Haven't seen the final times but Van Den Broeck went pretty well whereas Nibali and Porte will be disappointed.

Well, we already knew Wiggins could ride against time, but the next couple of days will show us if Wiggins can keep up with the real climbers in the mountains, this year. |

Insane ride by Wiggins and Kelderman, although I have a feeling Wiggins cooled off the pace towards the end. I'm sure he could've caught Evans, but he knew he had it in the bag already. |

Wilko with the ride of the day. Wiggins , Rogers & Froome very good. Porte looks to have taken day off. Jurgen van der Broeck is another rider that did great today. Good TT overall and enjoyable. Bring on Col de Joux Plane now.
