I have him in Fantasy Cycling, but I can't cheer for such a guy anymore if that is correctly translated.
There are idiots, and then there is Roberto Ferrari. |

If that's true, he should be kicked out of the race as soon as possible. You can make a mistake, but to say this? What a fucking moron.

Twitter is nicely ablaze now, nearly every rider I follow has said something in regards to the move that Ferrari made, none of them were complimenting him.
"I was hoping the left side would open to start my sprint but it didnt. Glad I didn't go right now, would have been taken out by a Ferrari." -Mark Renshaw
Will be very curious to see what Twitter Pro Phinney has to say when he gets the chance.

Riders should be heavily fined and suspended for putting their co-workers livelihoods and lives at risk in the peloton. It happens too often.
You can get suspended in football for a 2 footed challenge,or a spear tackle in rugby. Kick Ferrari out Giro for crashing 10guys at 60kph!!!
Wonder what Cav will say after his previous nasty comments after Dwars.

Phinney has found the pavement both days he has worn the Pink Jersey. Assume he races Wednesday, it should actually have to be his own fault or a teammates fault for him to meet the road again.

Nah, I want to see what happens later in the race. Next sprint I expect Ferrari to be jostled right out of the way. If Cav doesn't get him before. |

It is obviously not working for Ferrari, but an accident is an accident. I would throw him out if it happens again - which it probably doesn't |

What a scumbag. Have him in my fantasy team, but I'd rather lose his points instead of having him causing more havoc and saying silly statements. |

Today of all days aswell. Though Wouter's crash wasn't caused by an idiot like this, do you not think he should be showing more respect towards the safety of everyone in the race.

The comments alone are just sick, a year on from a terrible accident with a fellow rider/ work mate. To not have concern over anybody but yourself is just plain selfish and people say how can they make Cycling safer, well take idiots like him away and have tests on bike control in place before you are allowed into a 160m rider strong peleton. Very dissapointed in Ferrari!

Ferrari what a goddamn idiot. The move was dumb, and standard procedure is to relegate him to the back of the group, like many guys have regularly been in the Giro over the past decade.
But after those comments, I'd tell him to issue a public apology and then go home

Any source for Ferrari's comment? Sounds too stupid to be believable.
Anyway, I went to Herning to watch yesterday's stage. Not sure it was worth the four hour drive, but it was alright. Not anywhere near the atmosphere from the World Championship, though, but that was somewhat expected. |
