If that is the case, you have next years giro winner there...

Contador wouldn't sit in, he would just get them to set a super hard pace for a while then attack away himself. He would also probably have Andy to contend with, which would at least make things more aggressive. But yeah, i don't think it is really his style.

Bah, I don't like Contador getting such strong domestiques. He's more exciting to watch with a crappy team, specially if that causes him to lose time early in the races. He apparently also hinted to be trying to sign Cancellara.
In fact, at Giro 2011 he won the race by Himself because there was no competition (Scarponi, last year Nibali were not of his league), at TDF he was beaten by a couple men and their team (Evans + Schleck. BMC+ Leopard). However i don't think that Kreuziger will ever help Contador in a GC, he left liquigas for this reason! |

I didn't say it will be boring because one team will dominate. But because we will know the name of the winner before the real action will even start.

To be fair, I think most of us at least believe strongly that he will win next year whatever the course is like. Unless it is like this year's one... and even then he would be a good bet.

He could lead the team in the Giro or Vuelta and help Contador in the Tour.

Really? Kreuziger?
I find that very hard to believe. Look at how bad he was in the Giro this year.

i'm sure that Kreuziger left Liquigas because he couldn't lead at a GT (with Basso and Nibbles ahead of him)
he'd have at least 1 GT as leader if he moves to Saxo (not the TDF, but definately the Giro) |

Because this year was so unpredictable! (sarcasm mode on). Let's say that Pinarello started building the yellow bycle for Wiggins the day after the TDF was announced! |

Kreuziger always promises a lot, but also fails to deliver a lot as well |

Did I say this one was exciting? No. I just said that seeing Contador winning by like, lets say, 7-8 minutes will be even worse. More mountains and a stronger team means more opportunities for him to attack and gain time.

This.
He has a lot of confidence in himself, saying that he'll be one of the best stage racers in the future. I haven't seen any of that yet.

Riis has shown what he can do to such rider(s) before

In my opinion this year he was just unlucky: he suffered a bad day and lost a lot but the next day went on a breakaway and won! Moreover Brajkovic is so less strong than Kreuziger and every year he is expexted to do a great TDF and always fails! |

You haven't heard of the Saxo Bank blessing? The one that made Cancellara who is is. The one who made Gustav Larsson and Mr. America almost unbeatable. The one that made Sastre win the Tour, the one that made Basso podium, and Hamilton ditto. The one that made Frank Schleck and Andy Schleck perform to top top level. The one that made Richie Porte do great in the giro, the one that made Nuyens win a huge win. The team that made mediocre climber Chris Anker 14th.
No matter what this team touches, it is turned into gold. Kreuziger is already good, so next year he will become extraordinary

Kreuziger under Riis is almost dream come true for me.. Unfortunetely, in that team will be a guy named Alberto Contador as well, so it's quite a lot worse than it..

kreuziger to saxo is great I really hope Riis creates a real top team again, imo one of the greatest, if not the greatest directeur sportif

Didn't consider that. I guess it's possible Kreuziger will get a boost next year then.

If Kreuziger is true, why would Fuglsang sign Saxo? I do not belive he would be satisfied as 3rd leader, giving him no chance to lead any of the 3 tours.
Honestly, neither of the two makes sense to me. If one of them is to lead the Giro, we've seen how much that affects the riders in the Tour, ie. Contador in 2011.

Other news from Saxo+Tinkoff Bank: Riss is trying to sign Federik Kesiakoff from Astana and Nicolas Roche from Ag2r and never forget that Andrea Guardini was rumored several times to be headed to Saxo next year
https://www.spaziociclismo.it/?action=...izia=21678
as regards Nibali. as preannounced by Italian television a couple of days ago, he will officially announce his future in a or at maximum two weeks time.
