It'll get interesting though now if the helpers are gone then who'll take the responsibility of getting the time back in the descent and the flat parts between Galibier and Alpe d'Huez. Fränk or Samuel Sanchez surely won't do anything so there's only really Evans and maybe, just maybe Basso to do anything.
And now Basso is gone! Will get even more interesting |

Rolland is a very well deserved white jersey.
Yep. But if Voeckler falls apart, will Rolland stick with Voeckler?

Evans needs to close the gap on the downhill now, if they don't catch them now, he has played himself out of it.
Chapeau Evans! You better look forward to 50 descending kilometres at the front. |

anyone a idea of how far Cav is behind??
He was in a group with Thor so he is safe. If they going to be outside time limit there will be too many riders to DSQ them from the tour so it will be again -20.
After then he woulnd't bu much "safe" as Rojas will lead by 5, that will be damn close
If there are some guys from Movistar, they might try to attack out of the grupetto so that group splits in different small groups

Which would make things very interesting. A bunch of tired guys all together at the base of the Alpe

Disappointing Basso. No idea who is going to take this, what a great few days in the alps. |
