not sure if enough for 2 tough mountains stages and final itt.
contador looked really strong today, and the climb was very easy
And he still couldn't stay with Cadel Evans. Never mind Cadel having enough time, the way the tour's gone so far the question is can Clentodor even keep up with him?
Did you watch the stage? Evans had to go pretty far into the red to stay with Contador at the end of the climb. In fact, it took him a very long time to close the final gap.
Evans got away on the descent, not the climb.
It took him time to close the gap because he missed the acceleration by Contador, not because he was in the red. Once he noticed and follwed he got to him and sat on him no problem, then once they got to the top he led all the way down.
Good news for Evans that it finishes with a downhill tomorrow as well. |

The Schlecks are such cowards.
Neither do they have the technical ability or courage to ride downhill.
Andy Schleck wants declines to be abandoned from Le Tour. They are part of the french landscape and the GC winner in the end has to be a complete rider. Both of the brothers are arrogant and whiny... They will probably end up being 5. and 6. in the end.

In other words, he did not in fact drop Contador at all like you had claimed he did

When Evans goes on like this there is no chance to beat him. But after todays stage all the presure is on him. And in the last years he didn't handel good the presure. But when he doesn't have a bad day this year he will stand on the top in Paris. I didn't like the style how he rode in the past. But this year he rides different. He is more active and for me he seems to be stronger in the mountains. I think it's his last chance to win the Tour. |

So why the time gap back to him then? You can't get a time gap to a rider without dropping him. |

I still expect Evans to have an off-day on the Galibier or on Alpe d'Huez. Contador seems to be getting better and better, while the Schlecks seem to be getting weaker. If Contador wins this it'll be an amazing feat. Even though I don't like Contador I prefer him winning over Evans and Andy. At least he knows how to attack.
Edit: And Thor showed today he is worthy of his rainbow jersey. He realises he's not a top sprinter anymore so he focusses more on climbing, resulting in two stage wins in pretty hilly/mountainous stages. I can only be jealous that we don't have a rider like that.

Please anybody else than Evans. I really, really don't like Contador, but Evans.. I seriously hate him more and more as everything which is connected some way with BMC. (I probably shouldn't start to going to Cyclingnews forum.. )..
And Andy's downhill was the worst I ever seen by him. I thought his friend and team mate died at the Giro this year in a downhill. So I quite understand his reactions after the race. I watched some video before the TdF, where I saw that it seriously affected him. But now I see it affected him probably way more, than I thought..

Why do you hate him? He is a nice bloke and digs deeper in races than most others. See no reason why you shouldn't like a rider like that.

Have you ever heard Evans speak? That's enough reason not to like him. |

And there have been a couple of incidents with Evans being aggressive towards other people/riders.
Edit: Also his riding style is awful, though that's not really a good reason.

You guys made me smile. I personally like very much how Cadel speaks, he's a great person, he has a big heart, he is funny and he fully deserves it after all his bad luck in the past.
PS: Have you ever heard Clenbutador speak? Cmon dude...be serious. |

I like Evans for one thing:
He's neither a Schleck or spanish.

Nothing wrong with the way he speaks. In fact, he looks like a nice and modest guy in his interviews.
