Well done Wiggo. Rode very well throughout and only lost 12 seconds to closest rival JVB. Trophy should be his tomorrow Will be massive achievement for him and Sky. |

This is how the Giro D'Italia could have been if Contador didn't turn up!
Nice stage - Wiggins fought really hard, fantastic. Just one more day I will be jumping around rooting for Brad tomorrow. When you look at some of the other guys Basso, Sanchez, Brajkovic, Vino, Evans, VDB, Rodriguez this is a tough race.
No way are any of these guys good enough to win the Tour, from what I can see. Though I guess they will all look to improve by Le Tour.

Did the commentators just refer to wiggo as "the great man"? Jeezes. If only i had a euro for every time they say wiggins.

Great effort today by Wiggins. We knew he wasnt the best climber in the race, but he limited his losses very well - only 4 seconds on Vino is great, I thought Vino would gain a lot more.
Bodes well for tomorrow though for Wiggo, would be awesome if he could repeat this performance and secure the win.

EBH is a beast. His biggest problem now is that he is too talented |

I guess we will here comments from Ruben like:
"If Gesink would have tried in every stage like today, he had easily won this race." |

He rode very well today. My main concern was the form of Uran though, who I thought would have been stronger. Let's hope he improves for le Tour. Brad could really use him in the high mountains |

That's a nice performance by Wiggins. I thought he was about to crack at least 3 times during the climb, but hey, he won time on Evans and Vino. Good job.
Now I have 22h to dream that racing will start tomorrow in the Glandon, just to be massively disappointed when they only race up La Toussuire. |

I wrote that in sarcastic way of course. But his problem now imo is which category to specialise. He is great at everthing but not best at anything. With bit of focus on one category he can become best at it I belive. anyway he needs to find his specilization fast. |

I think EBH's biggest danger is that he's so allround, that he won't be best at anything. |

WTF? What about Sylwester Szmyd? Or Roman Kreuziger in last year's Vuelta? Or Dani Navarro in last year's Tour? Or lots of mountain domestiques since 2005?
If you're comparing the (very good, I'm not denying it) ride of Boasson Hagen today with the blue train of the bore you have a short memory.

Didn't watch any cycling before this year and only have seen some tours that Armstrong won I'm sure there's been other great helpers but I can't compare wha I don't know. Just wanted to make a compliment to an extraordinary performance by Hagen. |

The Colombian comentators (which have been really off on this Dauphiné) were saying Basso, Sanchez and Gesink are reserving for the Tour, really can't tell if that's true or if they are struggling badly.
Man, if Contador enters TDF I have the feeling he'll crush all these guys.

Ouch, your comments about the Armstrong era made me assume that you were following cycling, at least, since then. Sorry if I sounded harsh then. |
