I "saw" the fall on live tickets during the afternoon, I had a bad feeling about and now I can see the news... Remind us some sad memories... |

Things like this shouldn't happen. Absolutely sick to the stomach. My thoughts are with his family. RIP Wouter Weylandt. |

All our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Wouter. The team in Italy will decide on our further race participation tonight.

What are your thoughts about tommorow's stage? Should it be cancelled or annulled? |

If Leopard don't withdraw...neutralized with Leopard sent ahead to finish together ala 1995. All prize money etc. donated to Wouter's family. |

It doesn't really matter does it? And thats how the peloton will see it.
It will probably be shorterned and the result given to a Leopard rider, in respect.
Either way, tomorrow will not be a race, and rightly so.

I'm thinking it will be neutralised. Whether it should be? I don't know. That's the riders' decision. We have no idea how they feel. |

I think todays stage will be annulled, so not sure about the new ranking. Tomorrows stage will be to honor him without fighting for the win and so also annulled. |

I'm not sure neutralising has any point. But they won't have their minds on racing, whatsoever, so yeah, a neutralisation is likely. |

They might not change it since there's a huge amount of planning that goes into desciding where the stages should be. Besides, the riders will probably be extremely carefull when they go down roads like that. |
