Gesink was better than Kreuziger in the races where they meet eachother though. A better climber, and better in long time trials even.. (Kreuziger blows after 20km).

He just had bad falls at the wrong moment which makes his 'honour list' look small.
But to say he had abysmal seasons is uhm, quite off. I haven't seen Kreuziger battle it out for a Grand Tour yet like the way Gesink did against Valverde in the Vuelta...

They met eachother in some race?AH you mean in 1st stage of some race, because it is hard to meet Gesink in later stages when he always fell form bike in the first ones.
And batteling for Vuelta win with Valverde (you mean 6th place?) is not the same as batteling for Tour as i mentioned above
Bur i agree that he had some nice results,it was too strong words from me
You know darn well Gesink was battling for the win in the Vuelta

The 6th place was a result of a fall in the last week, causing him to finish the GT injured. If you deny that he was battling for the win your being ignorant

Kreuziger only picked easy races like Romandie and Tour de Suisse against poor opposition, while Gesink has tested himself against the best all the time in races like Dauphine and Paris Nice.

what is this..discussion :who will be better, who has more potential Gesink or Kreuziger?..easy one.
Or who has been more succesful so far?..another answer but also easy

Interesting to see Tour de Romandie startlist, tour wich starts tuesday. Last year, Gilbert and Evans rode it wich proved to be a very bad decision for Cadel, as he said.

Hope for Alejandro Valverde or Alberto Contador in Liége-Bastogne-Liége! Wink

If betting sites offered a bet on "which riders will crash", I'd choose Gesink every single race. I'd be a millionaire by now.

I would bet a lot on Team Milram. Every single race they fall or they have to withdrawal because of illness Grin

*claps Eurosport who went to a commercial break half way through a conversation about De Waele*

And they've just come back to the race, and the Irish bloke is still in mid-flow.

This sorta reminds me of 2005 when Voigt and Vino attacked together with 50kms to go and rode a two-man TT to the line.

They won, too.
